Established in 2008, House Your Soul is a collaborative of three Sydney DJ’s who love dance music in all of its forms, and more importantly, sharing it with you! George Kristopher, Mr-X and Mikekon originally got together with the idea of creating parties and a community of likeminded music lovers focused on deep and soulful underground house music. We drew inspiration from the DJ’s, producers, pa
rties and dancers of late 20th century New York (think The Loft, The Shelter, Body & Soul, 718 Sessions). Over the years, the party toured artists such as (but not limited to); Danny Krivit, Timmy Regisford, Josh Milan, Karizma and Osunlade, using clubs, loft spaces and warehouses as the canvas to create these dancer focused events. Sound quality and comfort for our patrons are always priority over marketing, gimmicks and flashy venues. We pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land (past/present/future) and recognise that without the Black and Gay contribution to creating this sound, we wouldn’t be here today doing what we do.
