Ever wanted to learn how to skate? Our next program is starting soon and it's not too late to get involved.

We teach you all the basic skills necessary to skate and if you fall in love with skating like we all have, you can stay on and start your Roller Derby journey. This program is also a great refresher if it has been a while since you had wheels attached to your feet. There are lots of roles available in the derby world - players, referees and plenty of off skates roles too.

5 February 2022. Basant is a spring time kite flying event during the Basant Panchami festival in the Indian Subcontinent.It falls on Basant, also called Basant Panchami. According to the Punjabi calendar it is held on the fifth day of lunar month of Magha (in late January or early February) marking the start of spring. However, people also observe the celebration on other times during the Spring season. The festival is associated with Sufi saints and shrines across India and Pakistan.

Hi! I’m the owner of Rex and love to help out the Indian community with rooms where I can.

Unfortunately we’ve had some Covid cases this week so until around the first week of February we are closed until it’s safe to open again. We will deep clean and start fresh!

Apologies to those of you who have friends or family or acquaintances ringing this week.

I am also considering selling the business and property so if that interests you please let me know as it may be a good time while we are closed and deep cleaning for someone new to take over!
