This is part of Paul’s maintenance to ensure we keep racing in the winter, verti-draining punches holes into the turf to allow oxygen to get into the subsoil.

Ezekeil takes out the $500k Magic Millions Country Cup! A rain sodden Gold Coast track provided the Cody Morgan trained Ezekeil, an opportunity to notch up back to back wins, after recent success in the Armidale Newmarket. Unfortunately, only two races could be completed on the feature day, with the remainder of the meeting rescheduled to Thursday. Many congratulations to Cody Morgan Racing and Australian Bloodstock!

THE BIG DANCE Tamworth Jockey Club are proud to have a representative in the Big Dance series, with the Troy O’Neile Racing trained Beckford, qualifying for the race following a strong win at Tamworth in the transferred Armidale Cup meeting back in December 2021. Although unclear as to whether he'll gain a start in the $2m Big Dance, or the $500k Little Dance, either way we are sure Beckford's presence will be felt at Royal Randwick next week! Currently, he is expected to be the second emergency in the feature race. Tickets for the Randwick meeting: https://www.australianturfclub.com.au/races/the-big-dance-on-cup-day/ and Watch the inaugural Big Dance on CH7 or Sky Thoroughbred Central on Tuesday, November 1, or be trackside at Tamworth to cheer him on!

The countdown is on with only seven days until The Kosciuszko. We caught up with Cody Morgan Racing this morning for an update on his three horses Talbragar, Anethole and Le Melody, ahead of the $2m race at Royal Randwick over 1200m.
