Yesterday was a brilliant day to be a Newcastle/hunter valley/port Stephens/central coast wedding vendor. A group of us girlies got together Thankyou to the amazing and who managed to get us all together for an amazing day out (technically two days but I managed to sneak away from my hectic life for a few hours of fun). I am truly lucky to call these group of stand out humans my friends and how shaky they are the most amazing group of women. It’s such a joy to be in their presence and it never feels like we are competing.

A sure fire way to ease the pressure a little bit is to play a theme song for them or a song that will excite your guests (just like the one attached to this post). I liken it to a wrestler entering a match or a singer entering a stage.

Who would’ve thought that a train ride would lead us to a wedding? Here was Rhiannon, minding her own business just trying to get home when all of a sudden the train stops and on jumps this pretty cute guy.  He walked into the carriage and they instantly made eye contact, now this sounds like the start of a rom com right? Well, it would have been except that the cute guy was actually being followed by another girl, his girlfriend who awkwardly said something along the lines of “who are you looking at? Who is that?” To which he replied “I really don’t know” then the pair awkwardly sit in front of Rhiannon. And that was where this tale screams to a halt. Cut to a few weeks later and Rhiannon was working as a manager at Coles and was waiting to meet the new manager at work when all of a sudden who walks in, the cutie from the train. OMG! However, she would quickly discover that he would become her arch nemesis and they would fight all day. One day, things changed and they sort of realised that they were fighting so much because they liked each other. It was 2019 and Rhiannon received a notification on Instagram saying, “Taylor Humphries posted for the first time in a while - check it out” and so she did not think anything of this and liked the photo. She immediately hears a PING and Taylor slides into her DMs saying something like “Hey” we should catch up. So, they set a date, sparks clearly flew and they have been inseparable ever since.

HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO! 🎂

It baffles me why couples have been told to wait until 730pm to cut their wedding cake.

They walk up, people are expected to go crazy and they literally just put that knife into the cake. It’s pretty anti climatic right?

What if I told you that it doesn’t have to be that way. That’s right, you can cut your damn cake sooner.

Why not make it part of your wedding entrance? 🤌
