Gertie’s Goodies is on the lookout for another superstar to join our growing team! As a made-to-order catering business operating 7 days a week, no two days are the same. Right now, we’re looking for someone to help with our weekday corporate catering orders.

🔹 Role Requirements (including but not limited to):
✔️ Food prep work
✔️ Assisting with catering orders
✔️ Baking
✔️ Clean-up

We’re after a positive, hands-on team player who:
✅ Feels comfortable in a kitchen & enjoys working with food
✅ Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene & food safety
✅ Can work both independently & collaboratively in our small team

📅 Casual Role | 10-20 hours per week to start
✔️ Weekday daytime availability is essential
✔️ Early morning starts may be required
✔️ Opportunity to grow within the business for the right candidate

It’s been a hot minute or …ten since we’ve jumped on the socials, we’re still very much here pumping out all things from grazing to corporate catering and ALLL the sweets. 🍪

Our Christmas/festive season orders are open 🎄
With a huge range of sweet and savoury goodies to choose from.
We’re also planning a few pop ups at the kitchen toward the end of the week/start of next week for some Christmas sweet treats or pop in and put together a little gift hamper - so keep an eye out for ‘opening hours’ to pop in.

Gertie’s is still taking Christmas orders - but we will be closing Xmas orders tomorrow ⚠️ so this is your friendly little reminder to jump online and place your order! Whether it’s a a serve of bake at home scrolls, brunch box, an iconic Gertie’s goodies graze, some delicious house made sweet treats, salads or sides. We have something for everyone!

We aim to be open Saturday and Sunday for last minute goodies but if you want to ensure you get exactly what you’re after then I recommend ordering….asap!

Hello December ⭐️

My gosh, November was an absolutely crazy month for us at Gertie’s- quite possibly our busiest yet!!
I am so so grateful for each and every order we’ve received, we love being apart of your events and gatherings. 🥰
However the insane amount of orders we’ve received in the past 8 weeks has put us *very* behind on our Xmas product launch, and a little slower in admin side of things.
We will update you on our festive season orders and availability throughout the week…..

At Gerties one of the core values to my business is bringing people a quality product, that’s why you’ll find our grazing boxes filled to the brim with homemade goodies and top quality products. I’m not popping to the supermarket to quickly buy the specials and making do with what’s on offer, nope I’m getting up at the crack of dawn turning the oven on and hand rolling melting moments while a gooey brownie bakes, there’s some butter and sugar creaming together to make the next batch of bickies while I plan what doughnut, tart or cupcake flavour I should make today. There’s sugar burns up my hands from making honeycomb, toffee and caramels from scratch over the stove, and that’s just for a sweet box. But I wouldn’t change that for anything. It gives me control of the product so it’s always made fresh to order, I can choose quality ingredients and none of those nasties found in packaged baked products. It brings me so much joy getting to build a box, watching it come together knowing I made so many of those goodies that are packed to the brim to bring you a quality product worthy of sharing, gifting and devouring.
