When you’re sore and beat up a bit and can’t sleep I just return my best students messages . When u buy in and believe in me and the way I teach it I’m always a text away . I’m proud of your work ethic , drive and the awesome young lady you are becoming !! reached back out showing me a couple videos last week and exactly what I explained to her what would happen HAPPENED !!! We all get use to setting a trap for calves we know at home . We always go to the pin, create 70 percent over target first swing and get across back of our target . 90 percent are gonna step left . Cover that first then adjust to where the play takes u but u set up a great body position , square and rank ASS first swing then pull the trigger when your ready . I woke up in prayer first thing this morning and started this day Drivin as ever to get out there and own this day of training and my crew was dead on this morning and we were crushing it right up until the second to last horse saddled before saddling 5 more . I am told sometimes that I say I love u a lot . U damn right I do and it’s the last thing I say every phone call because I lost the man that taught me to love and he told me 20 times a day he loved me . His note he left me every morning at 4:30am was ended in I love u. I about died a few years ago and now I love u is on the tip of my tongue to the ones I love . I made a post about going to see my dad with Blake this weekend because it’s been a while since I spent a day with him . The weather got sh*tty that morning so I didn’t think my mom would want to meet us there and hang out in the cold and mist . She takes it upon herself to call me an as***le on social media and u know how I prolly reacted to that bu****it . U watch this last video on this Blessed start to a great day . U better choose your words daily to the ones u love . U never know when it’s the last time u see them . Thank God He got me thru this clean again because the last words she spoke directly to me was pretty much u fricking as***le on social media for the world to see . I have busted my ass to fix my mistakes in life and live my life the way God intended me to and been called out and judged since I was 9yrs old so I don’t mind calling out anyone in the world including family !! I love u will continue to be the last three words I say to the ones in my circle !!! Thank u God for having your hands over me again today !! I Love U 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Why would a guy buy working cow horse rejects ?? They slide to far . Yep right up until u change there job that now love and realize they aren’t a reject anymore . What they are great at is perfect in our world . When they have fancy power steering and brakes it sure makes our jobs easier and faster . Doesn’t take them long to buy into us and our training they are getting rewarded for . If they didn’t make the cut they prolly weren’t treated the greatest and now someone is showing them a new game they are great at !!! Blessed to get these that just needed a friend and someone with full confidence in them ! 🏆🙏

HERE IS ONE FOR YOU !!!! I Ran into a world champion heeler at the hotel down in the dumps after round 3 and maybe he even said he sucked !!! Let me tell u one little secret Cowboy ! I don’t give two sh*ts what event you compete in . U always need to start your first swing at around 70 percent coming across your target because the second swing is naturally gonna come down to 60 percent and then u never let that drop below 50 percent no matter the direction they go . 70 percent of your loop on the right side of your steer because when he stepped left u didn’t stay to atleast 50/50 and your odds aren’t gonna be very good to get both feet . Most don’t have a clue I roped both ends pretty damn good at 5yrs old and never even roped a calf till I was 9yrs old . Texas State Champion Header as a freshman in high school and State Champion Heeler as a Senior in High School !! As u can clearly see in these videos how much tip I create coming across the back of the steer , across the back of the calf’s neck or Blake roping the horns . Mondays Tip

I always try to kick EVERYDAYS A$$ but sometimes there are things that pop up and side track me and everyone else ! I lost a dear cousin yesterday , my plate is super full here , my hands could have been doing better and they were running a touch behind so I was ready to rope but they weren’t ready yet and u know how that prolly went over ! I keep my circle small and I have very special people in it thank God and one that talked me thru losing my cool more than I did and got me back focused and back on track and I dominated my second half of the day that turned out amazing and everybody on the same page and knocked it out of the park on these amazing horses I’m Blessed to train !!! God has me right where he wants me and I’m Blessed He has a great team surrounding me and wanting the best for me !!! Some times i get the feeling of things going AVERAGE around here and I don’t allow that long so they have to learn also to not wear there feelings on there shirt collar !! Just get there A$$’$ in gear and get with my program !! We have product ready to head out the door so when your ready to up your Equine partner they are right here at Cody Ohl “OHL” Performance Horses with plenty to choose from and we are doing it all on them !!! 🏆💲🙏

We all deal with this crazy world we live in daily differently and there’s plenty of stuff that steals our peace thru the day but none like the days u lose blood !! Please keep my Uncle Joe and all our famikt in your prayers today . We lost Kenny yesterday way too young . He was a great human and and cousin and will be missed by so many !!! Make sure u tell the ones closest to u that u love them daily . U never know when it’s the last day for either of u . RIP buddy until we meet back up again !! 😪💔🙏

Very Blessed start to my day getting in a great church service and then some flanking and tying by myself that brings back so many memories of how many times a day I flanked and tied at the arena all by myself chasing the dreams that all came true. Felt good getting a couple runs in on a special young horse . These guys never let me down in a world full of plenty let downs ! I give these guys every ounce of me and they deliver in huge ways everytime and never disappoint me or play games ever when I ask em for it !! These guys bring me so much joy and trust my every move and my training process !! Blessed to have these horses in my life in this crazy world !!! 🏆🔥🏆🙏🙏
