💔 CHANGE OF PLANS 💔

Due to circumstances out of our control, we have had to postpone the 2024 Dust on the Downs, originally on February 24.

A new date and location will be unveiled very soon!

If you have already bought a ticket, don't fret! Your ticket can either be transferred to the new date, or refunded in full. Get in touch with us to organise that further.

We greatly apologise for any inconvenience.

Have you met Paddy before?

Paddy is the brain behind Dust on the Downs, coming up with the idea to bring together local businesses and talent. After waking up one morning several years ago with a strong desire to get out to a rodeo, he was disappointed to learn there wasn't one nearby and hadn't been in quite some time. So he thought, if you want something done, do it yourself!
From there, Dust on the Downs was born. Paddy grew up in Mitchell where he played Rugby League as a young man, before moving to Toowoomba and becoming a truck driver. Behind the wheel of an industry that keeps Australia turning, Paddy has been driving for more than 30 years, and is currently working with Neil Mansell Transport.
A proud Iman man, Paddy wants to bring people together for a fun day out to watch the rodeo, ute muster, show & shine, live music and explore the on-site markets promoting our region's small businesses!
