Due to ongoing flooding and torrential rain, several areas in Townsville are experiencing life-threatening conditions. Authorities have issued evacuation orders for residents in the following suburbs:
Cluden, Hermit Park, Idalia, Oonoonba, Railway Estate & Rosslea

Residents in these areas are strongly advised to evacuate by midday today. If you are unable to stay with family or friends in safer locations, evacuation centres have been established at:

Heatley Secondary College
Fulham Road, Heatley
Note: Pets are not permitted at this location.

Townsville Sports Precinct
24 Burke Street, North Ward
Note: Pets are accepted at this location.

For our 2024 convention, we were proud to announce Veteran Gaming Australia as our official Charity Partner! This incredible organisation provides support, camaraderie, and purpose to veterans through the power of gaming. By fostering connection and teamwork, they’re making a real difference in the lives of those who’ve served.

As we enter the spooky season, it's with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to the incredible Ken Page, whose iconic voice as Oogie Boogie became an integral part of so many childhood Halloween and Christmas memories.

From the playful majesty of King Gator in All Dogs Go to Heaven to the warmth he brought as Old Deuteronomy in Cats, Ken’s unforgettable performances have left us with fond memories that will last a lifetime.

His laughter, talent, and spirit will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Ken Page, and thank you for sharing your light with us all. 💚✨🌈

🚨 Important Update: Postponing of 2024 Trivia Nights 🚨

Hey Popstars! We regret to inform you that our Disney/Pixar and Video Game trivia nights, originally scheduled for later this year, will be cancelled.

Due to a recent decision by the Townsville City Council to convert Townsville Stadium into a sports-only venue, we are now in the process of securing a new location for our event in 2025. With this unexpected change, our focus is on finding a new venue, which means we won't have the time to organise our trivia nights as originally planned.

But don’t worry! We love these trivia themes just as much as you do, and we are committed to bringing them back. These trivia nights will be rescheduled to the first half of 2025. Stay tuned for updates!

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We can’t wait to see you at our trivia nights next year!
