Causal Position Available- Laundry Attendant

We are currently looking for a Casual Laundry Assistant to join our team.
The successful applicant will attend to our inhouse laundry requirements. There is flexibility in the work hours, we envisage that 15-20 hours will be required each week depending on seasonal volumes. There is also opportunity for additional weekly hours supporting our hospitality team with inventory cleaning and event packing.
A competitive hourly rate in line with industry award and experience will be negotiated.

Core duties will be processing linen through the washing, drying and ironing cycles. Laundry experience is welcome however we will provide the successful applicant with the required training.

About You:
• You have proof of your right to work in Australia
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet seasonal deadlines, on rare occasions including weekend and evenings.
• Physical fitness and a capacity to safely undertake manual handling tasks associated with the position (which may involve assisted lifting, bending, twisting, pushing or pulling and repetitive actions)
• Dedication, enthusiasm and ability to work as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and listening skills.
