What exactly makes a conscious party āconsciousā?
Quite simply ā intention!
āIntention is everythingā, as they say.
Getting clear on what you want and setting your intentions for it to unfold;
is the act of making the subconscious, conscious.
So at our parties, we individually set our intentions by making space to feel into what our individual intentions are;
And then we collectively set our intentions by creating a fun, uplifting ceremony together to share these intentions with each other and āThe Universeā/ Great Spirit / God / Natureā¦ whatever you consider your higher power to be! And if you donāt know what that is (who really does?!), think of it in Quantum Physics termsā¦ we use the act of ceremony to charge the electromagnetics of the Quantum Field ā our collective energy fields ā with the frequencies that we would like to attract ā magnetise ā to ourselves for the evening.
And in the case of THIS event, being not only held on the New Moon (a great time to set your intentions every month) ā but being the Western calendarās New Years Eve ā it is also an excellent time to get clear on, and set your intentions for, the entirety of the 2025!
Our intention setting ritual will involve three simple parts -
1 ā Choosing what we want to let go of from this year, ie. Fear of the future, fear of showing our true selves, putting other peopleās needs before our own, toxic relationships, struggle, self judgment, lack of abundance, etc, etc!
2 ā Choosing what we want to feel during the night itself ā ie. Joy, connection, fun, laughter, love, making new friends, openness, playfulness, great music!, having a great dance! - and why not also set the intention for magic, getting to know ourselves and our friends deeper, and maybe even ā transformation?!
And 3 ā Choosing what we want to feel over the course of the next year! Ie. Abundance (knowing that we already have everything we need available to us), love, freedom, connection, great relationships, a safe and comfortable home, creative fulfilment, sharing our light with the world, feeling safe, inner peace, Peace on Earth, good health for ourselves and our loved ones, mystical experiences, a direct connection to the Universe/Great Spirit/God/Nature/your higher power, and more specific things if you would like to add them in!
There are other reasons to hold a ceremony at the start of an event, too.
There are beautiful side effects that happens when you have an opening ceremony, especially one where people can look each other in the eyes and possibly even share a moment of truth together. Strangers might learn each otherās names and turn into friends. Everyone feels more connected and safe to share over the course of the night. I have found that synchronistic connections occur frequently and with more magic and intensity at gatherings that begin with ceremony. AND ā if you happen to be choosing to take psy.chedelic medicines or other substances ā your energy field will be more protected from detrimental āforcesā, and you are, quite simply, much more likely to have a āgood tripā!
Our ritual will be simple and fun, and will end by us committing to ourselves and each other to be the best that we can be for the following year. We will connect, share some of our intentions to each other, and then raise the energy together to make us all feel good and uplifted to start the night!
It will be the MOST powerful ceremony, if as many people as possible do the best they can to arrive before the ritual starts at 7:30.
But we will also be tuning in everyone who already has a ticket ā or will be buying a ticket over the course of the night ā to receive the blessings of the group ceremony, as you are automatically connected in the quantum field by your intention to be there! If you arrive later, you will still have the opportunity to release what no longer serves you, and set your intentions, at our altar at the entry door, so have no fear of missing out if divine timing has other intentions for you.
