It was my Lilly’s 6th Birthday yesterday and all she wanted was a cat party and a Red Velvet cake.
Lilly picked this gorgeous image from Deezee Designs.
A simple cake but I just fell in love with how gorgeous and beautiful it truely was.
It made me realise after taking a big break from caking, how much I really do miss creating beautiful cakes.
Having said that I’m not in any rush to have sleepless nights again as us bakers know the time and effort it takes to create beautiful cakes for our customers.
I am happy to bake a cake a month to slowly get back into baking again.
I’ll no longer be making cakes or baked goodies for weddings, unfortunately.
If your after a cake for April/May/June, please contact me now to avoid disappointment.

Lots of beautiful High Tea treats for a wedding on Saturday.
Macarons were a mix of Vanilla Bean,
Dried Freeze Raspberry, Chocolate & Caramilk.
Cupcakes were a mix of Caramilk, Vanilla Bean, Chocolate & Red Velvet.
Boxes also contained our famous Chocolate Brownies, Caramel slice & Melting Moments.
All made fresh to order

There’s always a first for everything.
1st time making an all Fondant cake for my daughters 8th Birthday.
Was happy that I pushed myself to make something I wouldn’t usually make.
Ella and her friends absolutely loved it.
Loved the result, have many things to improve, think I might stick to what I am good at and that’s buttercream cakes lol.
Love different challenges my kids set me because that’s what makes it interesting.
Made Disco ball Vanilla Bean Cookies with edible glitter to match the disco theme cake.
White Chocolate Mud with White Chocolate Ganache.
Loved decorating board with diamantés.

It’s been a while since I last posted.
I’ve enjoyed spending time with my family and am now back to baking.
The long break is what I needed, to get my groove back into creating beautiful products for my clients.
I throughly enjoyed making this cake and the Macarons.

My daughter celebrated her birthday with her friends yesterday.
Lilly’s description was Pup Academy with Aqua Buttercream, Chocolate Ganache on inside with Ferrero Rochers. I surprised her with a chocolate piñata inside which everyone loved.
Just letting everyone know I won’t be taking on any new orders until June this year.
Last year was a bit crazy with cakes and working part time and I found I didn’t have much time for my family.
So this year I am spending time with family, my girls are growing up too quickly and you can’t get that time back.

All funds from ticket sales will go to 1st Burrill Ulladulla Scout Group: upgrade of facilities and Sea Scout equipment for local youth.
Event date: Sunday 12th February from 10.30am - 12.00noon, Ulladulla Scout Hall, corner of Geoffrey Street & St Vincent Street, Ulladulla.
Tickets $10 each (plus booking fee/card payment fee). Group bookings attract lower card fees so try to gather a group of friends to make a single booking for everyone to reduce card fees per person.
We have a limited capacity so all attendees MUST PURCHASE A TICKET PRIOR to the day for this February event - only available until fully booked! No tickets at the door in February.
