Your wedding ceremonly is NOT a stage production... I repeat... your wedding ceremony is NOT a stage production!

I truly believe your wedding day should be relaxed, fun & a reflection of who you are as a couple.

There is definitely a place for choreography & knowing your requirements for a ceremony. Knowing what to expect will certaily help you to remain calm and relaxed on the day.

However, leave it up to me to do all the heavy lifting!

Iโ€™ll discreetly get your bridal party into position, Iโ€™ll word up your wedding party so they know how to hold their flowers and what to with their hands and Iโ€™ll make sure youโ€™re standing centre of the arbour... The list could go on (& it does!) but the point is - Iโ€™ve got your back!

Often too much time is spent thinking how fast to walk, when to walk, how to stand and how awful it would be if you stuffed up your vowsโ€ฆ

This particular Groom stumbled through his vows a little & let me tell you... It most certainly didnโ€™t dampen the ceremony in any way. Quite the opposite. He laughed, the bride laughed, the guests even had a little chuckle and instantly the mood shifted. Because in that moment we were reminded that these two people were not actors in front of an audience but they were Paige & Cooper - marrying each other in front of all their favourite people ๐Ÿ–ค

A massive thank you to all the beautiful couples Iโ€™ve married this year! You have made this little side hustle of mine so enjoyable. It truly is such a special job to be able to meet so many incredible humans and share so many unique love stories.

2024 will be a year more focused on family for me, as I welcome my third little love.

In saying that, I still have a number of upcoming weddings that Iโ€™m excited for! However, just a heads up that Iโ€™ll be a little slower responding to new enquiries but welcome them all the same!

I have been very quiet on socials the last few months due to some very exciting news for our family...
Baby Sully #3 is on the way!

This means for my remaining 2023 weddings, Iโ€™ll be looking very much like this throwback pic from the lovely Fiona & Adrianโ€™s big day - with my little bump in tow!

First trimester has finally (& thankfully ๐Ÿ˜…) past & Iโ€™m feeling good, ready to get back to marrying some amazing couples soon!

As for my 2024 bookings, here are some things to note:
โ€ข I wonโ€™t be taking any NEW bookings between Jan - April
โ€ข Current bookings are still locked in (unless Iโ€™ve already contacted you to say otherwise ๐Ÿ˜ข)
โ€ข I will be limiting the number of weddings I take on in 2024 & will be restricting how far I travel for future weddings
โ€ข All initial meetings will be Zoom or phone meets for the time being.

Also a big thanks to those couples who have been so understanding of me needing to step down as the celebrant for their big day. Itโ€™s never easy news to break to any couple but Iโ€™m so lucky to have an amazing celebrant community that are always willing to help & step in when needed. Youโ€™re in the best of hands โค๏ธ

This busy wedding season has come to an end & itโ€™s time to slowww it down!

Itโ€™s been a love-filled few months & Iโ€™m so thankful to all my beautiful couples for allowing me to play a part in their special day.

I remember coming away from my first meeting with LJ & Aysha feeling so excited about how genuinely important they saw their ceremony. (This isnโ€™t always the case with couples and to each their own - I get it!)
