🏁🏁🏁ICONS REUNITED AND RESTORED🏁🏁🏁

We can now officially confirm that two of the most iconic race cars in Australian motorsport history will appear together for the first time in 31 years, as they’re exclusively revealed following ground-up restoration at the Canberra Festival of Speed in January.

Dick Johnson Racing Ford Falcon EB2 and EB3 cars raced together in the hands of John Bowe and Dick Johnson respectively in the 1993 Australian Touring Car Championship.

This was the first season of the 5.0-litre V8 Group 3A era that later evolved into V8 Supercars and remains the top echelon of Australian Motorsport as the Supercars Championship today.

Canberra Festival of Speed ambassador John Bowe won the first round of the 1993 series at Amaroo Park, and will be unveiling the two cars at a special ceremony on Day 1 of the event in January.

The EB3 chassis’ race career was cut short when Johnson crashed out of the 1993 Bathurst 1000 while co-driver Bowe watched on from the pits, but has now been meticulously restored to original race condition alongside Bowe’s EB2 championship car.

Both cars will be seen together publicly for the first time since the 1993 Bathurst 1000 at the 2025 Canberra Festival of Speed.

Dick Johnson Racing's first EB Falcon ATCC racers (EB2 and EB3) haven't been seen together in over 31 years, not long after Canberra Festival of Speed ambassador John Bowe won the first round of the V8 Group 3A era at Amaroo Park in 1993 aboard #18.

This category soon evolved into V8 Supercars, and the rest is history...
