🌸🫶 Let’s talk arbors…

Which one to choose? Where to get them from? How much to spend on arbor flowers?

Here is some helpful info when choosing your ceremony arbor (the thing that frames your ceremony vows)…

✨ arbor styles come down to personal preference but if your stuck think about your ceremony location & what would suit the surroundings

✨ I have 2 x white plinths & 2 x white metal towers which my couples can hire from me. If you choose floral towers or a ground floral nest no arbor structure is required

✨ any other style of arbor will need to be hired through a furniture company, here are my faves that I have worked with before

✨ keep in mind that large & bulky arbors might not be able to be repurposed, best to ask us first

✨ I suggest spending no less than $2k on your arbor flowers for an average amount of flowers or if you want wow-factor spend $3.5k or more

✨ I think the ceremony arbor is a focal point of the day & will feature in so many photos so make it impactful

💸🤯🌼 Most people are confused when it comes to flower pricing for their wedding…

Here are some pricing tips ✨

🌙 We have a standard price for bouquets & buttonholes. This is so we can uphold the high quality of our designs. Simple bouquets are $490 & statement bouquets are $550.

🌙 Ceremony designs will cost you between $2-5k, depending on the level of abundance you want.

🌙 The more tables you have at your reception the more flowers we need & the higher your quote will be. Average reception flowers will cost you between $2-10k+ depending on what items you require.

🌙 Candles are a good fuller for tables & add warmth/ vibe to the space. Candles are $17 each & I would suggest for every couple to add candles to their quote!

🌙 Hanging installs are great for wow-factor! Budget between $2-5k.

These prices are just a guide & exclude GST.

⭐️ We have a $5k minimum spend on flowers, this will get you a small minimalistic wish list

⭐️ Statement overflowing designs more your vibe? Budget $10-$15k +

I have recently increased my minimum spend to $5k 🤍✨

This is due to a number of reasons…

💫 We value maintaining a high quality end result for our clients which requires a high quantity of flowers, sundries & creative minds to execute.

💫 The same amount of preparation & creative brain power goes into each wedding (of course some require more than others) but having this minimum spend will ensure we can keep functioning as a healthy business in the future & allow us to grow.

💫 We can’t provide the same dreamy aesthetic for any less than $5k. We use mostly premium imported flowers which are very expensive to purchase. Most roses come in bunches of 25 so having this minimum spend means we won’t be out of pocket for purchasing big bunches.

Our clients generally spend between $6-9k on their flowers 🌸

Let’s talk labour fees… ✂️🏃‍♀️🚐

🌸 The labour fee covers the time & staffing required to execute your designs

🌸 The labour fee will depend on your items & will vary from wedding to wedding

🌸 An average labour fee is around $800-$1000 which covers around 16-20 hours

🌸 Midnight pack downs will require a higher labour fee

🌸 Most weddings we need to hire an experienced freelancer to assist in the prep a few days leading up to the wedding, setting up on the day & packing down post wedding. This will be factored into the labour charge.

UPDATE 🌸💫

It’s been a while since I have shown up on Instagram due to having the BUSIEST season ever! 😱

While that is SO exciting, I am feeling a little burnt out, so I have decided to take a little break to recover from being so busy & recharge my batteries 🌜

While wedding floristry is my FAVE, it’s very physically demanding, requires the most creativity, needs endless planning & many sacrificed weekends which has taken a toll 🙏
