💜 A fresh batch of calming herb bundles are in progress in the studio today.

Lavender is well known for its calming properties. It’s also often used as a bug repellent and to keep air born moulds at bay. This makes it the perfect herb to burn throughout the home.

Deliah returns …

After a little winter hibernation, I’ve been back in the flower studio tinkering away. Lots of sweet everlasting wreaths and pressed flower artworks are in progress.

What a beautiful process - it was such a joy to carefully pull this beautiful bouquet made by apart, press it all, and then carefully dissect leaves further to create this everlasting keepsake.

Autumn is my favourite time of the year, and is always a time of excitement and change for me. So it seems fitting that this will be the last weekend of Dear Deliah hanging out at

I’ll be moving my flower studio home to continue working there. This will allow me to spread my time between the flowers and my ceramics practice with more ease.

There will still be plenty of sweet things from Dear Deliah at Valley of Yore. As well as some market appearances coming up just in time for Mother’s Day too!

So excited for this new season of growth. There’s lots of things in my online store available for delivery too - and custom orders are always welcome.

Sometimes it’s the small things that bring the most joy. This mini wreath is made with locally grown Limonium and poppy pods - soft pinks and oranges speckled through a white cloud.

Earthy Pastel Wreath ...

Ohh yellow ...

I love the way Golden Rod dries - it retains so much of its colour to enjoy long after the water has left the stems. It goes so well with tiny little Feverfew flowers and Love-in-a-Mist pods as seen in this wreath.

I’m closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but I’ll be back open Thursday with a fresh supply of Billy Buttons - more yellow!

What could say ‘I love you’ better than a thoughtfully purchased local King Protea?

Valentine’s Day is a time to remind your people you love them (just in case you’ve forgotten through the rest of the year). The traditional and romantic single stem roses often given on Valentine’s Day might not be quite as sweet as you think - most roses sold in Australia have been imported from Ecuador, Kenya or the Netherlands. Those roses go through extensive fumigation to be imported, and particularly when grown in the Netherlands have a huge carbon footprint due to artificial temperatures maintained in grow houses.
