The Month of May
The Month of May was an exciting and fulfilling period for the Cathy Fogliani team! We had the privilege of being part of the Innovator of the Year Program Launch 2023, organised for the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science & Innovation, at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The WA Innovator of the Year awards recognise outstanding Western Australian businesses and individuals who have developed innovative products, technologies, or services. Our team took care of the launch event and production management, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees. We also handled registration management, guaranteeing a smooth check-in process.
Thanks go to AVPartners for delivering exceptional audio-visual production and enhancing the overall impact of the event. Floretboutique once again provided stunning floral arrangements, while Event Artillery contributed stylish furniture pieces. We also extend our gratitude to photographer Matt Jelonek.
We are grateful to the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science & Innovation for entrusting us with such an important and impactful event. It was a pleasure collaborating with all the suppliers involved in bringing the launch to life.
Warm regards,
Cathy Fogliani Events
CBH Group
Earlier this year, during the peak of our glorious summer, we had the privilege of organising three events in one day for CBH Group at Optus Stadium and the dazzling SkyView Lounge! This space offered the perfect setting for the Group’s AGM, Member’s Forum, and a Sundowner cocktail event on the top level, with breathtaking views across the Burswood peninsula.
These occasions were made even more special, as we celebrated CBH Group's remarkable achievement of 90 years of harvests. A show-stopping element, among the many highlights of the day, was the exquisite display of native florals, skilfully arranged by the talented team at The Wildflower.
Providing delightful entertainment for the evening was Coby Grant. Her emotionally captivating songs took the listeners on a journey into her world of love, travel, and life lessons, enriching the overall experience.
Thanks also go to Horizons West for transporting guests, ensuring a memorable and seamless experience for all attendees.
We are grateful to CBH Group for entrusting us with such a momentous event. It was a pleasure working with you once again, and all the talented individuals involved in making this huge day a resounding success:

CBH Group Regional Employees Forum
In May, we had the pleasure of hosting the CBH Group Regional Employees Forum at the Batavia Coast Conference Centre in Geraldton. This event coincided with a significant milestone—the 90th year since CBH Group's establishment.
Congratulations to CBH Group for this remarkable anniversary! The forum provided a valuable opportunity for employees to reflect on their collective achievements, shared journey, and future targets. To mark the occasion, Sweetly Baked Perth created custom-branded cookies featuring the number 90 as a delightful nod to the incredible milestone.
We also partnered with Bright live event for top-quality audio-visual production and live streaming, and Botanical Den who provided beautiful floral arrangements.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to CBH Group for the opportunity. It was a pleasure collaborating on such an important event and we look forward to creating more exceptional experiences together!
Warm regards,
Cathy Fogliani Events
Meetings are moving away from the typical boardroom setting into warmer, comfortable spaces where decision makers can come together to collaborate.
We recently had the pleasure of planning a luncheon in this inviting workspace for the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation as part of an independent review of the WA Jobs Act.
The warm timbers, soft and well-lit room, comfortable seating, and wholesome food, all combined to create a great meeting environment – a perfect space to work together and maximise productivity.
Being able to co-ordinate events that positively impact our communities is a real blessing.
Thank you to Joondalup Resort Hotel for hosting us and to BRAND AID PRODUCTIONS for capturing these moments.
We are always striving to create memorable occasions that capture the unique personality of each client, company and organisation we work with.
And we have thrived on the wonderful variety of End of Year celebrations that we've been so fortunate to be a part of over the last few weeks – from the elaborate and dramatic to the intimate and enchanting.
On December 5th, we managed a magical event on the banks of the South Perth Foreshore, to celebrate and recognise a fantastic year of hard work, great working relationships and a prosperous 2023 ahead for this gorgeous team. Thank you for trusting us again with every detail of your very special end of year occasion.
Guests came together at the always elegant Mister Walker Restaurant on Mends Street Jetty, and celebrated over beautiful WA-inspired food and beverage with breezy entertainment from the delightful Howie Morgan DUO Champion Music.
Warm thanks also go to Floret Boutique and Mr Pot Plants for the exquisite styling.
Simply the perfect night ✨
Western Australia is home to some brilliant minds, and it was impressive to see some of the state’s brightest innovators and entrepreneurs being celebrated at the WA Innovator of the Year Awards on December 5th, at the ever beautiful Fraser’s at King’s Park.
Huge congratulations go to the night’s overall winner, Neurotologix, for their remote patient monitoring device which is revolutionising how neurological conditions such as dizziness and vertigo are diagnosed. And of course, congratulations go to all of the incredibly talented winners and finalists on the night.
Not only do these awards acknowledge the success of WA’s most amazing minds, but they also encourage support from industry, strengthen research and promote job creation and economic diversification.
It was a privilege to be asked to event manage this significant occasion by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation.

What I love most about what we do, is seeing the smiles on people’s faces, hearing the laughs, the conversation flowing, and wonderful talent being appreciated. It warms my heart to know that we have achieved our goals but most importantly that our guests are having an amazing time; we’ve created a memorable experience.
On the 19th of November, we produced an end-of-year-ball for a gorgeous client in the spectacular River View Room at Optus Stadium with Matagarup Bridge and Perth city as the backdrop. The night began with dinner in the beautiful Riverview Ballroom, accompanied by some outstanding musical talent, with the absolutely divine Coby (vocals & guitar) & Nicholette C on the baby grand piano (& vocals) Following dinner, our guests re-located to the Victory Lounge & Concourse with a party atmosphere in tow, finding home in the vibrant, spectacular dancefloor.
One of the many highlights was a sensational performance by 8 times ARIA award-winner Kav Temperley from Eskimo Joe and Katy Steele from Little Birdy, accompanied by the Perth Symphony Orchestra and The Scotch College Pipe Band. It was Aussie Rock like we’d never heard it before! And I was so delighted by the standing ovation from the guests to all of the evening’s magnificent entertainment.
Fantastic company, delicious wine and great entertainment carried on well into the night! A memorable evening, celebrating the outstanding contribution of staff and their partners

Recently, we were honoured to manage the 2022 MERC - Mining Emergency Response Competition awards night and celebrate the amazing volunteer rescue teams who participated in the 2 -day Mining Emergency Response Competition, to support our state’s mining workers on sites across WA.
It was my absolute pleasure to help create this gorgeous celebration of dedication, bravery and resilience.
We had over 700 guests come together to celebrate, share stories, be entertained, and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of Crown Perth. The energy in the room was just electric with all teams showing a real sense of camaraderie. A well-deserved night!
We would like to congratulate all the MERC participants, volunteers, sponsors, stakeholders and founders on another successful year of competition, we look forward to seeing what’s in stall next year.

We were delighted to head down to our state’s South Coast to work with CBH Group on another of their Member’s Forum and Cocktail Events – this time in spectacular Esperance!
I love the variety of our work and being able to travel around beautiful country WA, which always presents us with new opportunities to create occasions with a difference.
Lucky Bay Brewing was the perfect location for this relaxed event, providing members with the opportunity to hear the latest updates from the business, share stories and have some fun.
Throughout the evening, a novelty CBH beer was served to growers. The ‘Celebration Ale’ was brewed by Lucky Bay to commemorate the 2021/22 record harvest 🍻
Thank you to CBH Group for trusting us to manage your first regional Member Forums. It was an honour to be part of your events.
We absolutely love this time of the year, when months of creativity and planning start to synergize with the commencement of our client’s wonderful end-of-year corporate balls, dinners and parties.
It’s always a privilege to be given the opportunity to work with a diverse range of Perth companies and organisations to plan and manage these events, which are often a significant part of their workplace culture – a memorable way to reward their hardworking employees and make them feel truly valued.
Check out a Corporate Ball put on for one of our clients last year, everyone sang and danced the night away! A blessing to be apart of.
We’re currently preparing another Corporate Ball that is less than a month away, the team and I are so thrilled to see it coming together!
