👉 For you to grab yourself a bargain in our Christmas Cowboy Auction to support Team Australia on their 2025 International Tour heading to New Zealand!

There are now 30 Auction items for you to choose from!

The funds raised from this will go towards team tracksuits for those competitors attending the New Zealand for the International Youth Challenge in December/January. In addition to this, it will also help to cover some of the memorabilia awards the competitors on the winning team (Team Australia) will receive from the recently held Australian Leg of the International Youth Challenge.

Throwback to 2017. What a beautiful memory.

This was the first official team we co-ordinated for the USA International tours.

What an incredible journey we have been on since then. Next year will be 10 years since we took our first official team.

We have had some incredible sponsors and supporters who have been there from the very beginning. We can't thank you all enough for believing in us,, and we are so very grateful to have been able to give International competition opportunities to so many youth rodeo competitors in both Australia and New Zealand over these years.

2026 will be a big milestone year, and we can't wait to share this experience with many more.

❝ From the first moment to the last, it has been an outstanding experience and one I’d wholeheartedly recommended to anyone one interested in developing their rodeo experience but also from a social point of view.

The Youth Rodeo Organisation deserve great credit for putting this on. They sourced a fantastic location/base and fulfilled in their commitment to give the boys genuine first hand exposure to what 'BULLRIDING' and rodeo in USA is all about.

Exposure to excellent coaching and encouraged mixing across the respective riders and contractors was very positive and as valuable as any of the many and varied rides the boys took part in……the whole week was structured to ultimately encourage development and experience of what are unique conditions.

The other massive positive was the whole atmosphere created and encouraged so that a ‘disparate’ group of talented individuals became a team by the end of it all……thanks to Kylee and Colin for facilitating this but to the wonderful group of boys who attended!

It’s been a blast! ❞

Youth Rodeo Contestants -

Our Professional Youth Roughstock Association tour offers opportunities for ba****ck and saddle bronc riders right from peewee division (6-8 year olds) through to novice division (as long as you are 19 years old as at 1 January you are still eligible)

For Bull Riders we even offer a 5 and under Walk trot category right through to Novice Division.

As well as the success Cade had, our Australian team also had the reserve World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Thomas Box, and the winner of the Short Go Round Charlie Box - so the Aussie team bought home a swag of gold buckles.

🏆 Cloncurry's 18-year-old Cade Ferguson has recently returned from the United States, now holding the titles of Saddle Bronc and Bull Riding Champion at the Professional Youth Rodeo Association World Finals. 🏆

He also took out the Rural and Remote Sportstar of the Year at the North Queensland Sports Foundation Awards. 👏

🐂 Cade’s rodeo journey began at just 10 years old, when he claimed his first buckle for the Poddy Ride at Mount Isa in 2017.

Since then, the wins have kept coming, having competed in over five countries. 🌎

💬 Cade said it's important for young rural riders to have the opportunity to compete on the world stage.

"It's really awesome to go to those events and do as well as I did, and then to bring that back to the town to hopefully bring more people there," he said.

"It also shows that even though you're from a small town, you can be the best."

The Youth Rodeo Organisation (YRO) has some exciting news for our upcoming New Zealand Family and Indigenous Tour - as well as our International Youth Challenge participants heading to New Zealand after Christmas.

👉 Thanks to our continued fundraising in Cloncurry, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 $𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

Many thanks also to the Australian Junior Rodeo Association Inc. and YRO volunteers for your continued efforts.
