So many palm trees around the beaches. And almost always you will find a heap that has fallen from the tree.
Just give them a good trim around the edges and they will look so stunning placed in a large decorative vase.

Made from all the goodies I collected on my walks.
Everything will dry beautifully, so this creation will be so pretty to look at for a long time.

Materials used:
Palm, palm sprout seeds, wattle, gum nuts, magnolia leaves and a long gum tree stick

Tools:
Florist scissor / garden scissors
Thin wire and some jude string

During lockdown, the one thing that really makes me appreciate life these days are going on walks. We are so lucky on the Northern beaches to have so many beautiful nature walks. I often collect a few things to get creative with at home.
Here some beautiful wattle, gum nuts and mature banksia.
I make sure to take only what I need, mostly what has fallen from the trees to the ground. We always have to respect the Australian bush.

🚫LOCKDOWN UPDATE🚫

NSW health has confirmed that florists are not an essential service, therefor BLOOM is not able to travel to the flower markets to source stock, being outside of our local government area.

Sadly, we cant offer any fresh flower designs at the moment, but do have some dry designs in stock.

Areca palm, so pretty!
The leaves look amazing in any tropical flower arrangement and have a long lasting vase life.
Also makes for a great house plant. Easy to look after and it has amazing benefits like cleansing the air and is also concidered a Feng Shui plant known for bringing good luck. 🍀

Sadly, we are closed as of today due to being a close contact to a positive covid-19 case on the Northern beaches.
We will follow the advise of NSW health regarding ISOLATION period and when we can re-open.

How amazing do lavender smell. Its been known to improve many health conditions like sleep, mood and stress. Very popular in essential oils.
Lavender is a herb part of the mint family and is native to Europe, Africa and Asia.
This stunner dries beautifully and is a fantastic compliment to any dry flower arrangement and I love to use it in fresh arrangements as well.

This pretty fluffy flower is ornamental grass and makes a fantastic addition to floral design.
It has short oval flower heads shaped like puffballs that resemble a rabbit’s tail.
They are native to the Mediterranean, and also neutralised here in Aussie.
