Being both a bridesmaid and florist for my best friend’s wedding was already so special, but this moment made it unforgettable. Her late grandfather’s favorite flower was a yellow rose, so I knew we had to find a way to honor him.
A single yellow rose nestled in her bridal bouquet, another placed in front of her grandmother’s seat at the reception—small but powerful reminders that love never leaves us. And the day before the wedding, we created something even more meaningful: an arrangement for his gravestone, made with flowers from her parents’ garden and blooms from the wedding. A tribute woven from love, memory, and the beauty of a life well-lived.
