Hi all Day on the Bay ers !
Firstly thank you all for coming along to our little area of the world and making our first DOTB a great success. The weather Gods took an each way bet and gave us a cloudy day, but it didn`t rain.
Thank you for all your words of encouragement and constructive criticisms. They have been taken on board.
This event was put on whole and solely by the Sandgate & Districts Chamber of Commerce without any contribution from any level of government. The chamber is a volunteer community group.We decided to take an enormous punt on the event believing in our community and and the support you give. This type of event showcases our area to a wider audience. We believe the short and long term economic benefits are worth it.

To shortly address some of the issues.
We worked hard to attract some of Australia`s finest acts to our area.
Artists Finale- I like you all thought this would fantastic.This was going ahead until Daryl Braithwaite insisted that he be the last act and the final song being Horses.
Chairs- it will be fixed. There will be clear guidelines next time.
Toilets- It will be fixed.

Please don`t hesitate to keep talking about this and our area!
We have already started working on next year`s line up!

Sarah De Bono Music! It all kicks off at 2pm at Decker Park, Brighton today. Don’t forget there’s lots of awesome gourmet food trucks waiting for you, plus fully licensed bars so you can wet your whistle … and here’s who’s playing when!
