Carol Dobson Design is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Bathurst, creating eye-catching artwork that blends simplicity with complex geometric designs. She enjoys creating fun, quirky pieces from different materials, playing with different shapes and forms to produce stunning outcomes. Working mainly with textiles, polymer clay and print, she brings bright and fun pieces to her viewers.
Carol has won multiple awards for her work at a state level, being placed in the Standard of Excellence multiple times at the Sydney Royal. She has been invited to teach her craft skills at events such as Fibre Frolic in Mulgoa, and River Yarn Festival in Carcoar, in both polymer clay and felting. Her work can be viewed in retail outlets in Cooma, Canberra, Leura and Bathurst.
During her career, Carol was an adult facilitator, educator and trainer, both in the face to face and electronic environment. Her love of teaching has continued through to facilitating craft workshops.
