She said yes! This was a pretty special moment. Mitch had a plan to propose to Chloe during a walk on the beach earlier this week so we coordinated a spot for me to hide out and capture it. Huge congrats again to the both of you!

What a lovely afternoon/evening on Sydney Harbour this was! With Vicky and Raff originally being from the UK, unfortunately many of their family and friends were unable to make it to their special day in Sydney in March. We live-streamed their ceremony so that their overseas guests could still be a part of their special day. We also captured their speeches in full and produced this after movie as part of a tailored package.

Hi, I'm Kye (Kye Smith)!
I started my videography journey in 2012 after completing a Bachelor of Communications (Majoring in Media Production) at UON. After working in various areas of the media industry for several years I began filming weddings casually and found a strong passion in capturing once in a lifetime moments and sharing them with couples.
After spending several years capturing a broad range of weddings, I launched KSC Weddings earlier this year with the focus on capturing every unique moment of your special day in exquisite detail while being extremely easy to work with. We now have a small team of videographers and would love to be a part of your special day!

When not capturing weddings you can find me drumming, teaching media at UON, filming corporate productions (Kye Smith Creative) or hanging with my partner and toddler.

Joe and Sarah's First Dance (31/12/19)

Joe and Sarah shared their special day with us on New Years Eve and selected the Classic Package which includes a 3-4 minute highlights aftermovie. When capturing the highlights of the day we move around constantly to capture as many precious moments as possible throughout the day, but when we heard that Joe and Sarah had choreographed their first dance with Your First Dance Co., we thought we better keep rolling and capture their dance in full, i'm glad we did! See it for yourself :)

Deirdre and Elliot's Wedding Sneak Preview

Last month we had the pleasure of capturing Deirdre and Elliott's special day at Athol Hall Venue & Café. It was our last large wedding for some time and we are extremely thankful to have been a part of such a fantastic day with a lovely group of people. As well as shooting a cinematic aftermovie, we also captured Deirdre and Elliott's ceremony and speeches in full, allowing those that could not attend to still be a part of the special moments. Based in Newcastle and capturing weddings in Hunter Valley, Sydney, Central Coast, Mid North Coast and beyond! We are a small team of professional videographers who have a passion for capturing weddings.

You have put so much work into making your special day perfect, why not have the occasion immortalised by a professional videographer who can capture the moments in stunning resolution for you to cherish for generations to come?

Our packages start at $1,799 for the Short and Sweet Package and go right up to the luxury level for those who want everything covered. As well as our pre-planned packages, we are also able to tailor a videography package specific to your needs.

KSC Weddings was founded by Kye Smith who has worked in the media production industry since graduating from a Bachelor of Communications (majoring in Media Production) at University of Newcastle in 2012. After working in various areas of the media industry for several years Kye began filming weddings casually and found there was something really unique about filming weddings compared to working in other areas of media. His passion for weddings grew and KSC Weddings was launched in early 2020.
