Alex & Steve were married earlier this year at the gorgeous in an outdoor ceremony. It was an honour to create their floral vision, from the bouquets to the barrel arrangements and the collar crown for their special furry friend.
Being a summer wedding natives florals can be a challenge to source , but we were determined to create our clients dream florals. After hunting high and low, we were so happy to present their florals just as envisioned.
The barrel arrangements were relocated into the venue, creating that extra special touch during the reception and a cost-effective option.

It's been a while since I appeared on the gram, so here's a little update on what's been happening at FlowerLane HQ.
Amongst a busy summer season of weddings, we have moved house to the beautiful Yarra Valley and been baking a (not so little) bun in the oven!
With our little man due towards the end of July, I'll be taking a short break from events until restarting again at the end of August with limited bookings while we adjust to being a family of four. Thank you to all my lovely couples who have been patient while I took a little longer to respond to enquiries and quotes, and I'm so excited to get back on the tools in the not too distant future.

Yesterday, I had the honour to create the flowers for my dear late Uncles celebration of life. He was a one eye'd Collingwood supporter, a wise businessman, and a caring husband, dad, brother, uncle, and friend who will be so sorely missed by us all.
Although these sad circumstances bring up so many emotions, I am thankful I get to make something that encapsulates his spirit through floral design.
Thank you to my family for trusting me with something so special.

After battling a horrible sore throat and virus over the last fortnight, it was lovely to get back out and enjoy the sunshine (with my little culprit who brought said virus home).

We are so excited and pleased to be a part of the random act of kindness wedding for Emily and Richo! Myself along with many other vendors, are all chipping in our services to help create this lovely couples dream wedding.
The timing couldn't have been any better when Tash asked me if i could help.
Only days before I had been at the local supermarket juggling a full arms load of groceries when I realised at the checkout I didn't have my card with me. In a frenzy, I ran to the car to look and thankfully found it. Although, once I'd arrived back to the counter, the checkout assistant told me that the man behind me paid for all of my groceries. He had already left before I got a chance to thank him. So I sat in my car and cried (thanks lingering post partum hormones and sleep deprivation).
My next thought was, how can I return this lovely gesture and pay it forward? Ask and the universe will deliver. Jumping on board for this great idea was a no brainer!
