The hotel has 11 spaces across two levels including the pool terrace, which is their rooftop/outdoor function Space. I would like to extend my gratitude to the team at for the wonderful opportunity to explore the Sapphire Coast. It is truly amazing to witness the stunning coastline, pristine beaches, and picturesque landscapes. Our host was awesome .

Thank you to all the hosted venues we visited including Hotel Australasia, Pikes Italian Restaurant, Club Sapphire, Wharf Restaurant, Hillcrest Motel, Bar Monti, Wheelers Seafood Restaurant, Tathra Hotel, Tathra Beach House Apartment and Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre. These venues offer a diverse range of options for hosting any type of conference, incentive, or team building. These venues are more suitable for a bouquet style retreats.

We had the opportunity to learn about how oysters are grown in Pambula lake and how to shuck them. These oysters were delicious. If you are a seafood lover this is definitely a most activity for you to do.

We also had the opportunity to explore the new Gin distillery Nine Circles Gin and taste a variety of sample they have on offer. This activity pairs well with the oyster experience.

Unfortunately due to the inclement weather we weren’t able to participate in the whale watching cruise but this is an amazing activity to include when hosting a group in this region.

There are so many options available at the Sapphire Coast regions for your upcoming company conference. Whether it’s the diverse venues, the range of activities, or the local cuisine, there is something for everyone to enjoy. I would like to extend my gratitude to the team at Destination NSW for the wonderful opportunity to explore the Newcastle and Port Stephens regions. It is truly amazing to witness the significant transformations, that have taken place in the area since my last visit. Our hosts were awesome , ,

All the venues we visited including NEX, Newcastle City Hall, The Anchorage Port Stephens, Shoal Bay Resort/Ramada Resort just to name a few, offer a diverse range of options for hosting any type of conference, incentive, or event group. These venues, varying in size, are designed to accommodate any group size, making it a convenient choice for organisers seeking versatility in their event planning.

We had the opportunity to participate in a range of activities during our time. From a guided walking tour with Newcastle Afoot, to a Gin blending class at Earp Distillery, a thrilling Quad Bike tour with Sand Dunes Adventure, and a visit to the adorable Koala Sanctuary, all of these experiences would be perfect for team-building events during a conference.

Blanca, located at Honeysuckle, offered a delightful Mediterranean lunch experience. The rooftop bar at QT Hotel was the perfect spot to enjoy Champagne with a view. The rooftop Roundhouse Restaurant at Crystalbrook Kingsley in Newcastle served an amazing dinner. In Nelsons Bay, Little Beach Boat House impressed with fabulous scallops and stunning water views.

Both QT Newcastle and The Anchorage Port Stephens provided us with comfortable and spacious accommodations during our stay.

There are so many options available in both of these regions for your upcoming company conference. Whether it's the diverse venues, the range of activities, or the local cuisine, there is something for everyone to enjoy. I extend my gratitude to the for the invitation to the remarkable Pink Fashion Lunch, Chandon Ladies Day held at Rosehill Gardens last Saturday! It was truly an extraordinary experience supporting the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.

The atmosphere was nothing short of electric, and the food and service provided by the staff were exemplary. The fashion show surpassed expectations, combining captivating fashion displays with mesmerising dance performances. Moreover, the entertainment by was simply spectacular, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the day. Overall, it was an incredible event that left a lasting impression.

CVE had the pleasure of attending a Famil at Crystalbrook Byron this week. What a beautiful property nestled in the rainforest of Byron Bay. The service and food at this property is top-notch. The chef uses locally sourced ingredients in his recipes which truly shows. The flavour in his meals are amazing.

The property has 92 rooms and cater for up to 150 delegates. You can easily organise a group buyout for your next Conference.
Byron Bay Kombis can organise a pick up from the airport to transfer, you to the property or organise a tour of the town.

There is a variety of activities on offer. We we went to Cape Bryon Distillery. They have really good gin and whiskey. I did pottery at The Clay Barn with Zani who was fabulous.
Drew Campbell was a great host transferring us around to the activities and venues for lunch etc. His company Kiff & Culture can create some unique and memorable experiences for your events.

This time last week, CVE was enjoying the beautiful QLD sunshine on the .

We visited the brand new and had a sneak peak of the . Both venues are great options for Brisbane CBD for events with the own unique qualities, dining options and accommodation. Lovely quirky decor and fabulous food and service. We did a cocktail making activity with nibbles in Chelsea Lane.

We stayed and dined at the new in Fortitude Valley. This hotel is part of the Collection. Brand new build hotel, very funky, which ticks all the boxes for all your mid size conferences and events. Beautiful rooftop bar with great dining facilities. The food was amazing and very flavoursome.

We also had the pleasure of staying at the newly renovated . This is a beautiful resort with all the facilities you require for any event. There is no need to take your group anywhere else. With a variety of different function rooms, restaurants and outdoor areas. We attended a painting workshop with Sandy at the and we had a sunset cruise with , which was a real treat.

CVE recently had the pleasure of visiting the lovely Central Coast NSW . What a change it is see to see the region flourishing with a variety of newly refurbished hotels and activities, to offer our clients for their conferences, events and or team activity.

We had the pleasure of visiting Firescreek Botanical Winery . The wines are light and refreshing, all made from a variety of different of fruits. We had Chocolate and Wine Pairing experience. The wine was really exquisite, and the chocolates were to die for.

Our other experience was immersive culinary Broken Bay oyster farm tours on the Hawkesbury River at Mooney Mooney with . We went on a boat ride out to the oyster leases, to learn about the evolution of oyster farming. We then slid into our waders and into the water. We got to drink champagne and shuck our own fresh oysters. Yummy!

We stayed at the beautiful . The venue has been recently refurbished and looks amazing. The dinner and service at the restaurant was awesome. Definitely a great venue to send your groups for their next conference, I am sure our CVE clients will be happy with this venue.

Wow how time flies. I can't believe CVE - Conference Venue Essentials is now celebrating its 2nd birthday.

After all that Covid has thrown our way in the last two years, we have survived and been able to continue to serve our clients with their conferences and events.

Last week CVE had the pleasure of attending our industry event . What a great event it was for our industry. After two years of lockdowns and covid, it was good to see everyone doing what they love. The floors were a buzz and it was great to connect with old and new colleagues and friends.
