Destination weddings 🌴🍍

Dreaming of a destination wedding?

Kim and Sean know how to make this dream come true! Planning and pulling off a stunning wedding in Port Douglas where most guests enjoyed a weekend long holiday filled with festivities!

Kim is a long time friend of Jane and she was honoured to not only be MC for the reception but to have her hearing assistance dog Walter invited and for him to get a special bow made out of Kim’s stunning wedding dress material!

Kim and Sean considered what was important to them and sought out local suppliers who knew the venues and locations well but also brought over sentimental items such as the wedding party table cutlery which had been used at Kim’s grandparents wedding.

Kim’s advice if you are thinking about a destination wedding…. DO IT!

2022 // And just like that, the year is drawing to an end again! 2022 has been an eventful year for us and this heat is giving us time to reflect on what a year we had! 😂

You may have remembered you didn't see very much of us in November this year - the reason was we got married a month ago! Some may say we weren't away for long at all, for you may have seen us at markets week after week that followed in December 😂

We want to say a huge thank you to all who have supported us this year - that last market we had was unbelievable and we are so eternally grateful! To our fellow market stallholders we now call friends, thank you for all the chats along the way, and some who even helped us with our wedding! To all market organisers we have worked with this year, thank you for having us!

We hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas celebration and we hope you'll have a happy new year! We can't wait to see what 2023 brings us, so see you back at the market scene very soon!

➡️Listen up, here’s a story about a for the ages !

♡ Real weddings | Lauren and Alex

We’re not going to focus on the fact that the weekend Lauren and Alex got married, they had to brave a looming storm that would downpour in the middle of their ceremony…

instead we’re going to focus on the fact that when I saw Lauren and Alex separately in the morning, they both just were giddy with excitement to marry their love, that halfway during the ceremony when the weather turned (and was about to downpour) and I told everyone to ‘run to the marquee.’

Every single person picked up a chair, the arbour, flowers and ran to the marquee and re-set up the ceremony so that we could finish their ‘I do’s’. As soon as the formalities was over, it was a night of non-stop laughter, cheering, and dancing as these two families and friends all came together and celebrated these two!

No matter what you might face on the day, always remember that you are marrying the love of your life and have all of those who love you two surrounded you!
