Yesterday I had the honour of marrying this beautiful couple at De Bortoli’s Rutherglen. The weather was exceptional, thankfully and the setting was perfect.

Having wedding photos taken sounds simple enough…but these days photographers have to manoeuvre around your guests taking photos on iPads or their phones. I have found the guest is so busy taking photos they are not actually engaging on the actual ceremony and what you as a couple are saying to each other.
Perhaps a good idea is ask your guests not to take photos until after the signing of the register, and to not put their photos onto Facebook until after you have put them onto your own site.

I had a wonderful day today…a very significant wedding…in the photo are three men..father and two sons…I have had the honour of conducting all of their weddings…I have also married their brother/ uncle and conducted the funeral of their father/ grandfather.
I am so very proud to be a part of their special days.

What a day…a Naming Day this morning …and then off to a Wedding at Yarrawonga….last week a wedding at Noreuil in Albury….wonderful areas and beautiful couples. I love being a Celebrant!

March is a great month for getting married…I have 3 ceremonies this month and I am looking forward to being able to celebrate with the beautiful couples…as the time approaches your wedding day and your hard work is coming together…the excitement builds….very quickly the day has come …enjoy your special day because the people that are attending are all very special to you both…don’t be nervous …try and stay relaxed…the time seems to go by so fast…maybe stop for a few minutes..look around…and watch all of your family and friends enjoying your very special day…and say to yourselves…our love for each other did this…
