It's not just about having fun and downing the drinks 🍾(although, this what makes celebrations exciting), it's also a lot deeper. And I am a deep person 🧘‍♀️ A celebration like a wedding day marks the transition from a committed relationship to a COMMITTED relationship. It's not just about being "off-the-market" but committed to values (vows), the adventure ahead and the notion of growing old with someone 👵 Reuben and I had a beautiful, playful, spirited relationship prior to marriage and explored many things (in ourselves, in our surroundings and our future). As people we are more or less the same, but what marriage has given us is a sense of support for growth, sense of freedom to be ourselves, a sense of bravery to do what we want for our future and the future of our children 💗 We thought we loved before, but the love that we have now has completely DEEPENED. We only hope this for other couples, and a wedding day to us is not just about the dress, the decor, the place settings, the schedule.. it's about what marriage can be all about.
