My Bouquet

Peachy pinks and berry tones were what my bouquet dreams were made of… overloaded with cymbidium orchids, roses, kangaroo paw, and astilbe.

Find a moment to slow down, be mindful, and soak in the beauty on the morning of your wedding day. For me, it was finishing our bouquets with silk ribbon. Enjoying the fragrance of the blooms and the feeling of silk between my fingers. This was the moment that I took to remember what was most important about the day.

After the whirlwind of our wedding day, a couple of weeks later with restrictions lifted we dressed up again and headed back to to eat our masterpiece and drink with those who could rejoin us! We were lucky enough to have our very talented friend bring her camera along too!!!

Yesterday still feels like a dream… I’ll be sure to share more of our story over the coming days and weeks, but for now, I am so incredibly grateful to say that Dominic and I are married and feeling very loved up in lockdown.

When I say that we had incredible vendors… it feels like the biggest understatement in history!!!

At the end of this shoot a few of us took a seat at this decadent table, with the tall arched windows of The Warehouse behind us and a mighty storm raging outside, we all felt a sense of magic in the air.

There was something about the wild sky that made the creamy white roses and soft candle light feel so romantic, and like the wonderful vendors I met that day were old friends.

I met the lovely Sophie for the first time a little under 4 weeks out from her wedding day. She was so cool, calm, and collected despite earlier flower plans falling through. She knew exactly what she wanted and it was such a joy to bring it together for her and her new husband Luke.
Lush deep green with white roses en masse... It's hard to go wrong really, but set amoungst the gardens at club, it really spoke of romance... The strong, steady kind of deep love.

That hazy time between Christmas and New Years is here and I am into it! Who else is planning on hitting the beach?!

Merry Christmas to all of my wonderful industry friends and couples who I've had the absolute privilege of working with this year!

While 2020 is coming to a welcome end, let's be thankful for the moments that it has delivered unexpectedly- I think we all have a new deeper appreciation for our family and friends, whether by spending more time with them than ever before, or by the deep longing to see them and the precious time spent together through a screen.

Special mention to Christie for always cheering me on and dreaming up the most heavenly visions to inspire!

Here's to a new year ahead working on bringing more magic to more couple's special days!
