Today's Tip!
When planning your outdoor wedding ceremony, you don't need to provide chairs for every guest. Many people are happy to stand. Make sure you choose a space with ample shade cover for the time of your ceremony.
If you are a guest and there are vacant seats behind the family reserved seating, come forward and sit in them! The bride and groom don't want to see empty seats, they want to see your happy faces sharing their special day!!🤩

I performed another beautiful handfasting ceremony for a gorgeous couple - the burgundy ribbon symbolising the Grooms life and the white ribbon symbolising the Brides life.
I entwined the ribbons around the couple’s embraced hands and as they released their hands, an infinity knot formed, symbolising their lives now being permanently joined together from that moment. ❤️
A lovely start to a marriage and a special memento to keep!

Handfasting is a beautiful symbol of love that can be included in your wedding or commitment ceremony. Ribbons, soft cord or special pieces of lace or fabric are gently knotted around the marrying couple’s joined hands, signifying the bond they are forming as they join their lives together. This is where the saying “tying the knot” comes from.

Why are wedding rings traditionally worn on the third finger of the left hand? Ancient civilisations believed that a major vein ran from this part of the hand straight to the heart and wearing the ring stopped the love from escaping! Cute!!

I recently met a lovely couple and started planning their wedding which will be in a few months time. 💒The Caloundra Powerboat Club was a great venue for this meeting, check out their website for some lovely wedding setups. 🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️
I also saw the Bribie Island breakthrough where the ocean divided the island into two sections a couple of years ago. 🌊
