I love taking photos of my couples walking away from the camera. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see the back of the dress.
The softness and flow of satin dress is so romantic, don’t you think?

Ok, a better shot of me at work! It’s was such an honour to do this vow renewal.
We ended up doing this under a bridge by the lake due to the rain.

It is always such a privilege to do a vow renewal for a friend.

Bear met Andra on a train to Paris in 2019. Bear had talked the women next to him to sleep, so then he struck up a conversation with Andra and her daughter. They exchanged emails, briefly caught up in Paris and then Bear had to rush home as the pandemic hit and the air spaces closed.
He headed straight to her door as soon as he could, they got engaged and then finally married in Germany earlier this year.

They celebrated their marriage here in front of family and friends with a vow renewal ceremony.

Asanka and Sakura, married in the secret garden at Nara Park. It started to rain during the ceremony, luckily we could easily move under cover and the rain ceased so we could do the photo shoot.
I have packages where I’m the celebrant and the the photographer, with my partner ( also a professional photographer ) taking the shots during the service.

I love being a marriage celebrant. It’s such an honour to help couples plan a meaningful and beautiful ceremony.
There are usually a few from the joy and emotion of such a momentous life event.

Another happy couple that I married back in March.
It was a lovely intimate wedding that was also life streamed to the brides family in Japan.
I took the photographs of them around the grounds of Nara Gardens and NGA.
