We are in the recycling project ♻️

Our empty spools are taken for recycling to Beaches Sewing. This is a superb small local business who is a fantastic supporter of our group. Thank you 😊

However we hoard our lovely vintage wooden spools 🧵

The Northern Beaches Council Polystyrene drop-off collection day at The HUB Kimbriki is this coming Saturday 11th November for FREE from 8am till 4pm. The HUB is located half way down the hill as you head down into the Kimbriki site 💚♻️

Lifeline will be taking books at their depot soon.

Got books? Lifeline's Book Depot is open this weekend and accepting donations.

The Lifeline Book Depot at 18 Roger St, Brookvale will be open on Friday and Saturday this week (8 & 9 September) to accept donations of books for their Giant Book Fairs.

With the Forestville Book Fair just around the corner (27-30 September), your book donation will be used to help fund Lifeline's local crisis support and su***de prevention services, including counselling and financial counselling.

The Book Depot is open Mon-Thurs 8:30am-12:30pm, PLUS this weekend!

💚As a proud member of the international Party Kit Network, we are all currently completing our audit for 2022/2023.

💚My result is approx 1,800 pieces saved from landfill but that is the basics only 😊

Kits also include:

✅ Drinks dispensers & jugs
✅ Fabric table covers
✅ Washable hand & face wipes
✅ Serving platters
✅ Wine & champers tumblers
✅ Pass the parcel pouches
✅ Coffee cups and cake plates
✅ Crisp bowls
✅ Dinner plates & soup bowls

♻️All of the above replace the use of single use / disposable versions.

Thank you all the hirers who have chosen to host waste-free parties and for supporting our environment.

What a stellar community you are! An incredible $112,000 raises for mental fitness programs - money that will truly save lives.
Words can’t express how grateful we are to the sponsors, donors, volunteers and 532 swimming legends for showing up in all the ways that really matter.
