PART TIME POSITION - Wedding Hire Furniture & Marquee Installer - STAFF WANTED

We have expanded our services, and with a fully booked wedding season underway, we need more talent to join our team.

Martin & Ko Bespoke Coastal Weddings has been growing since 2016, currently employing three very passionate staff, whom enjoy working in a fun environment. We provide furniture, marquee and wedding/event related hire services. Our main customer base are excited, enthusiastic couples planning their wedding.

This role includes both the delivery and setting up of wedding and events as well as the construction/maintenance and repair of furniture and stock.

We require preferably an experienced labourer/carpenter who has good hands on problem solving skills and is fast on their feet. This position encourages you to be creative and a problem solver. Although you will be self managed to some degree, you will report directly to the business owner Alex who will be working side by side with you. The successful applicant will be expected to have good customer service skills and be well presented. An attitude of "Can Do" is required to fit into our culture, as is a happy and friendly personality, who wants to better themselves and keep the business moving forward.

Competencies:

Physically fit, handy and capable
Drivers Licence and experience with trailers/small trucks
Strong communication skills
Responsibilities include-
Accurately/effectively packing orders
Setting up events
Stock maintenance/repair

Details:
3-4 Days per week (Thurs/Fri to Sun/Mon)
$30-$35 per/h
Opportunity for position development

This is was a special day! To be able to do this incredible Tipi chapel on the beach for Alex’s brother Dom and Imogen!

We got to do the whole set up and the weather was perfect!

This tipi chapel is a great way to create a special space on the beach for a ceremony.

Imogen’s dress was stunning and we are so happy with how the flowers turned out

This was a lovely set up with our bamboo chairs, recycled timber dining tables and assorted cane outdoor seating under umbrellas. Perfect for this location 🌊

Wedding season is kicking off and we need an extra set of hands!

Barrel lifting will be a part of the job, so you will need to be strong and capable!

Ideally, we are looking for someone to work part time, 2-3 days a week, mostly Friday - Sunday until May this year.

General tasks and responsibilities:
- setting up and packing down event tents
- transporting and setting up furniture
- hanging lights and assembling various decorative installations

This is a physically demanding position, we sometimes work long hours starting quite early. We are mostly working outside in beautiful locations. Must have a license and own transport.

Our Sailcloth Tent looking beautiful set up at a brand new location - Cellito.

We are so excited to be offering outdoor weddings here.

The sail cloth tent is held up by our very own hand harvested and finished tallowwood poles.

The semi translucent ceiling creates a soft glow whilst keeping you protected from the sun. We can add clear or opaque roll up sides for extra protection from the harsh elements.

We're so happy to announce the latest addition to our stock - our sailcloth tent. This tent offers the ultimate outdoor wedding experience, we think it is absolutely breathtaking.

Boasting three roughly 6m tall centre poles and a 10m x 25m floor area the tent creates an epic space. The semi translucent sailcloth fabric allows light through in the day and glows in the evening.

The tent can fit up to 120 guests, your dancefloor and your bar. As well, clear walls can be erected to completely shelter you from the elements.
