🎅🎄🎄Traditional Christmas Pudding Orders🎄🎄🎅

🎅🎄I have been asked over the years If I make Christmas Puddings so this year you are in luck. I will post this now and again in November.

🎅🎄They come in different sizes, tap on the pictures for size, cost and servings, all come wrapped in a Calico cloth and ribbon. Great for a Christmas gift.

So I decided to have Father’s Day with the family a day early which falls on the last day of winter. No problem you say…but on this particular day it turns out that it’s going to be 35 degrees.
Still have a few customers orders to get out before I decide to cater for 9 family members doing entres of spring rolls and prawn toast followed by peking duck and pancakes. Then chicken satay, Singapore noodles and jasmine rice. I know it’s not within keeping but everyone loves a trifle so I did my signature dish, apple crumble trifle which everyone loved.
So up early in the morning to start prepping and bam the power goes off at 9am, we now have an emergency power cut and I’m told may not be back on till 6pm. 🤦‍♀️
Fortunately enough I did a lot of pre prepping on Friday. So this is where the old fashioned cooking mode kidded in.
By the way I have gas too. So chucked the duck on the barbie, cooked the main dishes on gas, deep fried the spring rolls and prawn toasts instead of using the air fryer. Used the rubbing method to make the crumble instead of the mixer and cooked it on the griddle instead of the oven, whipped the cream by hand, I now have mussels (on the arms, not included in the meal 🤣)
Fortunately enough all cakes went out before 9am and those birthdays were ok.
Power came back on at 4pm and all happy. No complaints from the family as there was nothing left.
Time for a break tomorrow.
