THAT’S A WRAP!
For a little while anyway...
After 3 years of Explore Events, I have decided to take a step back and focus on my family.

Thank you to all my wonderful friends and family who have helped and supported me, thank you to all the amazing suppliers that I have worked with and of course, thank you to my wonderful clients for choosing me to help you with your special days.

I hope to be back taking booking by the end of 2024, so stay tuned. :)

Katie & Nathan's Elopement 💕🥂

It was such a pleasure to plan and coordinate the elopement of these two!
The ceremony was set-up in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney, the weather was perfect, surrounded by only immediate family and Katie was walked down the aisle by their beautiful two kids.
It was truely a magical ceremony & I'm sure the afterparty was a lot of fun!

E & D choose a truely unique venue for their ceremony and reception and what a spectacular view!
Almost all the decorations and signage were DIY and everything came together perfectly, just as they had envisioned.

I had the best day/ night with these two and all their lovely friends and family.
I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

I think anyone who has planned a wedding or is in the process of planning a wedding has asked this question.

I personally think, yes!

However, we all know that weddings can be expensive and sometimes a videographer is out of the budget.

If so, I suggest hiring or buying a tripod and ask someone to set up your phone and record the important parts, like the vows, first kiss, speeches, first dance, etc (this is also something your coordinator can do).

You can also encourage friends and family to take videos throughout the day, gather them all up after and create your own video or reel on Instagram.

Photos are amazing but videos bring all the amazing moments back to life in an instant.

Choosing a venue can be the hardest part of planning your wedding, there are just so many beautiful places to choose from.

When I get asked how to choose a venue, my answer is simple.
What is important to you?

Knowing what you want out of your wedding day will help you narrow down wedding venues easily.

For example:
How many people are on your ‘must have’ list and can the venue hold that many people?

You want a party vibe... Is the venue relaxed? What are the noise restrictions?

What kind of view do you want? Are you a beach kind of couple, or are you drawn to mountain views?

Where is the venue located? How far are you and your guests willing to travel?

How much does the venue include? Does the venue provide furniture, do they have an arbour, do they do the signage, etc.? The more your venue includes, the better it is for your budget.

And of course, ... Do you get a good vibe?
You will know if it feels right on not!

What an amazing day!
I had the privilege of planning and coordinating the wedding of these two lovely humans back in September 2022.
Alex contacted me in 2021, living interstate, she was after some help planning her wedding remotely and I was more than happy to be the help she needed.

Finding out these two love birds had booked the same wedding venue I myself got married at back in 2020, made it even more exciting and put me in a unique position to give advice and answer questions, which was even better.

I loved how both Alex and Corey tailored there day to suit their personalities, it was a day full of smiles, laughter and so much love!

I often get enquiries from couples that have recently gotten engaged, they are super excited but they have no idea where to start.
Therefore, I thought I would start sharing some tips & tricks, that will hopefully help couples not only start the planning process but make it easier along the way.

STEP ONE:
Write your guest list.
I suggest two lists actually.
Write down your ‘must have’ and your ‘would love to have’ lists.
The amount of people at your wedding, will be a huge factor in how much your wedding will cost.

STEP TWO:
The dreaded B word… Budget.
Step two put together a REALISTIC budget.
By realistic I mean, something that you can save in the timeframe you are hoping to get married in.
I also suggest doing your research, look up the average costs of weddings, get quotes from suppliers and venues.
You will soon see how the number of guests you have will play into the budget of your wedding.
Weddings can be very expensive but there are definitely plenty of ways to get married and have a magical day, without draining you financially.

21.10.22 Paige & Keegans intimate wedding 💕

Planning and coordinating the wedding of these two high school sweethearts was an absolute honour.

Paige and Keegan originally enquired about our elopement package but they knew they wanted all their family and friends to join them on the day.
So, with a few upgrades and a little tweaking, we created a magical ceremony and reception for these two love birds and their 50 guests.
