Bonno Events Manager Helena Heleta, and I, were honoured to meet Australian Idol Star Ivana Ilic and the legendary Charles Cather, at the Opening of the 36th Annual Serbian Folkloric Festival at Bonnyrigg Sports Club last night. Ivana put on a great show, performing her debut hit, “Ohh La La”, and Adele’s “Someone Like You”. Charles is a renowned American-Serb, known for his humanitarian and promotional work of Serbia, earning him wide-world respect. To everyone attending the festival, have a great time!
The wedding season is in full swing and so too are bookings for 2025!
This year has been by far the most rewarding one yet, having been awarded the Best Wedding MC in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, as well as, being named in the Top-10 Best Wedding MCs in both NSW and Australia!

This week I attended the premiere of “Ljubav Tvoja I Neposlusnost Moja” at the Zvezda Cinema in Bor. I had the honour of meeting the film’s writer and producer Luka Djurapcevic; the film chronicles one’s journey into discovering the true meaning of being Serbian Orthodox. Here I am pictured with my dear friend, His Very Reverend, Deacon Dušan Stojemenović and Luka Djurapcevic himself. All proceeds will go towards worthy humanitarian causes organised by who have done above and beyond, helping those in need!

Thank you to Tesla 369 for inviting me to be a part of your community event last Saturday! We were all treated to fine Balkan cuisine (yep, I’m starting to salivate again) by both Tesla 369 and the ever-so popular Burek on Wheels .
Tesla 369 was founded just over a year ago and operates as a family-driven venture, with joint management by two families (.z .ljubisic) and are supported by their close relatives. The eatery has emerged as one of the favourite and go-to Balkan restaurants in South-west Sydney. Their menu is jam-packed with Balkan favourites, such as the classic čevapi and palačinke (and much more!). Check their page to see what they have in store and you’ll be impressed!
A fundraiser was also held on the day, with proceeds going to the Autism Advisory Support Service in Liverpool - thank you to everyone for your generous donation! Thank you to Milan and Mirko for keeping us entertained throughout the day, along with KV Events for keeping the younglings occupied with drawing, colouring and fun activities!

It’s always lovely seeing past newlyweds at other celebrations. Last night I saw Jayden and Marina (to my left) whose wedding I hosted back in 2014. It was one of my first wedding events and they remain as one of the youngest couples whose night I hosted. To my right, Petar and Katarina, who got hitched last year. The 36th Annual Serbian Folkloric Festival Gala Night kicked off in style on Friday night in front of a full house! His Eminence, Metropolitan Siluan, of the Metropolitanate of the Serbian Orthodox Church of Australia and New Zealand @soc_anz , was the main dignitary, along with other distinguished guests, which included Australian Idol Star Ivana Ilic @ivanailic3 and renowned American-Serb promoter and humanitarian, Charles Cather @cathercharles . Performances by Ravna Gora, KUD Izvor, Sv Stefan Choir, Etno Grupa Bozur, Goran Zaric & Dragana Lazic, ensured everyone had a great time!Ivana performed her debut hit, “Ohh La La”, and Adele’s “Someone Like You” left everyone in awe!
