I plan staycation destination weddings on the beautiful Mid-North Coast

CLOSING DOWN

Hi dear friends I have made the decision to close Sea and Tree Weddings after 2.5 years in operation.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being a small business owner in this beautiful part of the world but my passions have moved into other areas where I can see my time and energy is needed but where I can still be of service.

In the coming months I will be launching my new ceremony business .ceremonies which I am delighted to share with you all - this venture is very different to what you would expect a wedding planner to be doing but it aligns so much with where I am in my life now that it feels like the right time to begin this new chapter.

I will leave the S&T Instagram and Facebook accounts open for one more week before closing them down and please note these are the only platforms to get in contact with me as I have closed the others.

I wish the businesses that make up the wedding industry here on the Mid North Coast all the best in their future endeavours and I’m so incredibly grateful for everyone that supported me throughout this journey.

LOCKDOWN SOCIAL MEDIA BREAK

On Friday I spoke to you all on my stories about the need for me to sacrifice making social media content during lockdown while I manage my family, study and work commitments‼️

I want you all to know I'm still here behind the scenes running Sea and Tree as usual there just won't be any new content appearing on the socials until at least the end of lockdown or when my son can return to school (whichever happens first)🤷‍♀️

I can't believe I didn't start this journey earlier it's definitely an amazing and rewarding career and I'm so excited to be a part of people's lives in a whole new way 💖💖💖

PINTEREST📌and WEDDING BLOGS 🖥

I know a lot of people are in lockdown right now and when you're isolating and disconnected from loved ones it can be really hard to get motivated to plan your wedding😔

My tip for this Tuesday is to jump on Pinterest and just start searching up wedding ideas or visit some wedding blogs like or and use these sites to inspire you and get those creative juices flowing🤩

Printing out some images and making a physical moodboard 🎨 will help you stay focused, keep positive and potentially even lead to groundbreaking ideas for your own special day ✨

DIY TABLE STYLING🌿

Creating beautiful and simply table styling items can be really easy 🤩 and save you and your partner a lot of money if you're up to the challenge💪

There are heaps of videos on Youtube 💻 showing simply napkin folding techniques for example and you can buy cloth napkins from Spotlight or make them yourself if you're handy with a sewing machine🪡

Even if you're hiring a stylist ✨playing around with designs yourself will get all those wonderful ideas out of your head and into a physical prototype for them to work with‼️

WELL RESTED AND BACK TO WORK🤩

Hi everyone I'm back to work after taking the past two weeks off from Sea and Tree social media👋👋👋

It felt really great to take a break without leaving the house and I think its really important to recognise that even when it comes to something you are deeply passionate about ❤️❤️❤️ like I am with my business 🌊🍃we still need to recognise the signs that its time to slow down or take a break❣️

Now that I'm rested I will be back and present on socials and looking forward to connecting with you all again‼️

This book is so heartwarming💖 funny😆 and rawly honest😝I'm happy to say it is one of the best autobiography's I have ever read💯

Even if you don't watch Sunrise ☀️and have no idea who Sam Mac is🙈 you should still definitely pick up a copy and have a read you won't regret it❤️

I always try to live in a state of constant gratitude 🙏

I know I have a lot to be thankful for
🤍a beautiful home
🤍a loving family
🤍I live in the most stunning region
🤍I have to privilege of being able to work for myself
🤍I have the ability to design my life as I choose

Honestly I could go on forever but I always find when I'm having a day that feels hard to manage or I'm tired or down for whatever reason😔 remembering all the amazing things I have in my life helps to reignite my energies🤩 and sometimes that's all we need on a Monday morning to get through the week 👏👏👏

HONEYMOON🌴 OR BACK TO WORK💻

As its a Monday and I'm back to business as usual I was thinking about all of the couples out there who are planning their wedding and now I'm curious🤔

When I got married we went away for a few days but didn't have a traditional honeymoon and I seen a trend in people opting out of going on long trips (before covid caused even more issues)🙈

What comes to mind when you think destination weddings? Stunning beaches or majestic forest backdrops? Maybe some faraway place that you can escape to? Between work and the limited time for personal recreation, there certainly isn’t a lot of hours left in the day to plan a wedding!
