CommBank SmallBiz Week was a huge success returning to Marvel Stadium at the end of May. In its second year, the event hosted over 2,300 visitors, nearly 100 exhibitors, and over 70 speakers. This well-attended event was a great opportunity for small businesses to learn new skills, network with other business owners, and get inspired!

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:

⭐Lord Mayor Sally Capp launched CommBank SmallBiz Week.

⭐CommBank SmallBiz Sessions were packed over two days with seating needing to be expanded by 35% to accommodate the large crowds.

⭐Nearly 200 people attended the CommBank Young Hero

⭐Awards dinner gala: 10 entrepreneurs walked away as winners!

⭐This year's luncheon focused on AI and its impact on business.

⭐Speakers from Microsoft, Transhuman, PALO IT, and KPMG shared their insights on how businesses can use AI to grow their bottom line.

⭐The event's very first CommBank Startup PitchFest was a huge hit. Over 100 people attended to hear pitches from 10 startups. The winner of the pitchfest was She's A Crowd.

We're already planning for next year's CommBank SmallBiz Week, and we can't wait to see you there! The event will be even bigger and better than this year, with more speakers, more exhibitors, and more opportunities for small businesses to succeed.
