Our turn to be in front of the camera!

Today marks 5 amazing years of marriage together. We've laughed, cried, and everything in-between, and we wouldn't change a thing.

Watching our own story, ebb and flow, has truly put into perspective how important it is to have our precious memories captured.

Photography is the very thing that brought us together, and now we have the honour to have it be the very thing that keeps us moving forward.

Huge thank you to and for spending a day with us to capture this beautiful milestone.

Also, thank you to each of you who has played a part in our journey together. We can't wait for the chapters that are to come!

Let's talk about creative portraits!

We have a deep love for shots like these. Double exposures are one of many great ways to add variety to a gallery and make for some of the most beautiful fine art prints to hang up in your home.
Shots like these don't just happen out of thin air, there's a lot of intention behind capturing to blend together multiple images in our post-production workflow. Sadly, we sometimes don't get time while photographing to create imagery like this. Unexpected delays or time constraints on a wedding day can take away the opportunity for creativity outside of capturing memories. However, we're constantly finding new ways to create art, even when time slips away.

Let's make 2024 a year of experimentation!

Rochelle and Lachlan's wedding was held at one of their family homes which became the centre of many of their milestones together. We love it when couples stay true to their relationship and build upon their story, rather than making decisions that suit tradition. Sentimental weddings are something else and we love being part of them 🥹

One of my best friends celebrated her 1st anniversary recently and it reminded me of all the fun I had being by her side to act as an unofficial coordinator for the day 🥹 Bit of a different role for me, but I LOVED helping Emily and Jordan with their timeline, both before and on their wedding day.

While assisting them and their beautiful photographer, Kristen from "Moments I Capture", during their golden hour session, I took this sneaky photo on my camera as my own little keepsake. I just can't believe how quickly this past year has flown by!

Not every couple wants photo and video coverage of their getting ready process but when they do, it can be a beautiful way to set up their day.

The biggest tip we have for reducing nerves and stress during this portion of your day is to allocate enough time with your photo and video team. No one likes to feel rushed so we usually suggest the below as a minimum timeframe:

- Groom: 1 hour
- Bride: 1 hour 30 mins

Every team has a different workflow so make sure to check in with them just in case!

Our Story

Photography was the very thing that brought us together in June, 2018. Since then we have grown in our abilities and our passion as photographers through our experiences and our studies. With such a love for this art form, it was only a matter of time before we came together to create something special.

Not only have we taken the leap to become business partners but we have also embarked on a lifelong journey as husband and wife as of November, 2019. As a newly wed duo we provide a unique perspective as we work collaboratively to ensure a high standard of work.

We also understand the pressures of weddings and we aim to communicate with clarity and simplicity to ensure that there is one less thing for you to worry about on your special day. After all... It’s all about you isn’t it?!
