Little big Vows Micro and Elopement weddings

I’m now offering stationery as part of my service - almost every wedding planning meeting I have I get asked about this, so I’m very excited to say I’ll be offering this to all my clients!

Other than planning weddings - design is when I’m most in my flow and so this is where I’d like to spent most of my time!

📍Side note I will still be recommending all the amazing stationery businesses I would normally for larger weddings and because there’s enough love for everyone!

Days like today are always a little tricky for me, having lost my beautiful Mum to breast cancer 13yrs ago and after 25 rounds of IVF, Mother’s Day holds lots of emotions but after lots of tears, lots of heart ache, lots of finding myself, lots of healing…. I’m now very proud to announce I have 2 angels babies, 5 nieces + Nephew’s, 1 godson + 2 bonus children. Sometimes “Mum” comes in all shapes and sizes and that’s definitely true for me and I am truly grateful for all the “mothering” I get to do!
My thoughts are with all the “Mums” today whatever that looks like for YOU!

MC - Master of ceremonies, do I think they’re necessary? Absolutely!
Not only is a MC vital, they can be the difference between a smooth sailing day or your guests sitting there confused as to where next and if they have time to go to the bar, powder room etc.
There are super talented MC’s out there, they may be your Celebrant or your DJ, my advice is to book them!
Sometimes couples choose to have a family member step into this role and that’s where your planner or on the day coordinator comes in handy to guide them through the process (just like I’m doing here with 11yr old Ganjan) for H+C wedding day.

Your day goes by so fast, in a blink of an eye you’ll be saying your goodbye’s!

Take time out just the two of you, take in the moment and celebrate the beginning of this new chapter together.

Get your wedding planner or coordinator to arrange a plater and some bubbles to enjoy together, I like to arrange with the kitchen staff at your venue for a bridal platter to be ready around the time you are having wedding party shots or if your having sunset photos, there are plenty of opportunities to pop away you just have to make it a priority.

If you are wondering if you need or even just thinking about obtaining the services of a wedding planner, chat to anyone that has had a weddings and ask if they could have, would have they hired a bestie for the day?

I was so excited when I saw my workout buddy at the gym after her wedding to find out how her day had gone. She said the one thing she regretted was not have a wedding planner (“well told you so”, I said)!
A few things had not gone to plan and the stress that caused would have been avoided by having a wedding planner/coordinator to put out those spot fires!

I think I speak on behalf of all Wedding planners when I say it’s a goal of ours to plan a wedding overseas…

Even though I didn’t plan this Wedding my partner Chris and I were delighted to be guests and of course I befriended the photographer and some other vendor pals just in case a couple comes my way who wants to elope to the beautiful island of Mauritius! 🇲🇺

While most of my Australian vendor buddies are almost at the finish line of 2022, I have been lucky enough to have “downed tools” a few weeks ago and have enjoyed spending time in true paradise!
Heading next to Perth on our way home to Melbourne to spend Christmas with family 🎄🥂❤️

WEDDING TIP ✨
Ok so you’ve had the most amazing night/day, you’re hugging family and friends and then BAM!!
The lights come on, the bar closes or the music stops and it’s over 😩😩😩

My hottest tip (well one of) is have a car waiting to take you wherever it is that you are spending your first night in married bliss or to where you are partying on!
As a wedding planner, we style your wedding just how you imagine but at some stage we have to pack that stuff up and we’d prefer you didn’t see all that!
So remember your wedding in the perfect way it was and just get outta there (in style of course) 😉❤️
