Loved collaborating with .viola.perth and to create this dramatic ceremony space for the recent Swan Valley Twilight Wedding Expo at . The florals and draping, paired with the striking black velvet Muse dining chairs from , perfectly complement the Estate’s quaint red brick Crofters building, creating a luxuriously bold contrast.

A chic, luxurious garden soiree set amongst the vineyards at Nikola Estate.

White, ivory and black accents elevated the navy and sand palette, which was enlivened by shades of green incorporated through the florals. Candles accented florals and feature lighting added an alluring glow. Soft draping elegantly enhanced the styling.

Some beautiful moments of the Old Cellars styling for the recent Swan Valley Wedding Open Day.

The Old Cellers is one of my favourite spaces at the Estate.

Inspired by the brick walls, large wooden barrels and chandeliers, I conceptualised the sophisticated and timeless design to accentuate, soften and elevate the country-style, cellar.

Styling incorporated custom napkins and luxurious tablecloths, furniture, candles, tableware and flowers. The earth-green menus featured white text and a custom illustration of Nikola Estate’s gorgeous Chapel. They were printed on heavy, textured card and complimented and contrasted perfectly with the napkins.

Chandeliers framed the seating for the wedding couple on the head table, feature lighting in the design which anchored the head table and enhanced the space’s permanent chandeliers.

Warmth and movement were created by the flicker of the over 82 candles.

Personalise your wedding through your choice of venue and wedding aesthetic.

Choose a venue/location and wedding aesthetic/style that is significant to your love story. What are your passions, interests? What recreational activities do you both enjoy? Do have a favourite movie/play you would like to draw inspiration from? Where did you first meet? Where was your first date? Where is your favourite holiday destination - even if a destination wedding is not for you, you can allude to this with your venue choice and wedding aesthetic.

Define your aesthetic and make a list of suitable venues. Then enquire with each venue to ensure it can accommodate your guest list and obtain the function options/wedding package info and terms and conditions to see which fits your vision including vibe and priorities, best.

When considering your venue, pay attention to details such as cancellation policy, setup and pack down requirements, venue and noise restrictions, amenities and inclusions such as furniture and toilets, and day of assistance, as these will have budget and planning implications.

Happy 2024!

As the minutes tick down to the new year and I reflect on 2023, I am filled with gratitude. Gratitude for the clients that have entrusted me to plan, design, style and coordinate their events, the relationships that have blossomed with industry colleagues and amazing business owners who I have met and worked with over the year and for the my personal and business growth. I am also grateful for the love and support of my family and most importantly my hubby, the person behind the scenes who I often rope into helping me bring my visions to life (often at the cost of weekends and sleep).

I am heading into 2024 with clarity, motivation and momentum and I am filled with excitement for the opportunities ahead.
