Sajan started with PlushPlay in September 2022 as a PlushPlay Team Member.
You will find Sajan driving the PlushPlay van to events, carrying the bulky equipment to and from event setup locations, and setting up and packing up play spaces.
We asked Sajan what he most enjoys working at PlushPlay; this was his response:
"Every weekend while working at PlushPlay is a different experience. When I start my day at PlushPlay, I feel energetic , fresh, and excited to face the challenges and upcoming fun of the day. Travelling from one event to another and meeting all our delivery and pack up deadlines keeps me focused on challenges ahead. Moreover, the support and guidelines we receive from our bosses are really helpful to keep me active all the time. It’s a pleasure to be a part of the PlushPlay team.'

Mabinta started as a PlushPlay team member in February 2022 and has worked her way up to become a PlushPlay Team Leader.
You will find Mabinta driving the PlushPlay van to events, setting up and packing up play spaces and training new staff on how to best set up safe and secure play spaces at parties and events.
We asked Mabinta what she most enjoys working at PlushPlay; this was her response:
'There’s so many things I enjoy working at plushplay. One of them would have to be discovering new and cute places. I find working at Plushplay is so rewarding, knowing we get to take the load off our clients and then not only amaze the client with our cool setups but also the party attendees. On top of that, each party set up/pack up is a race against the clock; in other words, creating and beating personal bests are always fun !! I’m very honoured and happy to become a Team Leader with Plushplay.'

Rikus (aka Mr PlushPlay) is the Finance Director and muscle 💪 behind PlushPlay!
Rikus is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a whiz with numbers.
You will find Rikus managing the finance, doing all the bookkeeping and payroll, trying to manage (emphasis on trying 😜) Olivia's spending on new equipment 😆. You will also find him out and about training new staff on the job at PlushPlay setups and packups.
Rikus' favourite part(s) of managing PlushPlay is managing it with his wife Olivia and building the business into what it is today. A bonus is seeing all the happy faces when setting up the PlushPlay play spaces 😀

Olivia (aka Mrs PlushPlay) is the founder and managing director of PlushPlay.
You will find Olivia responding to emails, answering calls, putting together the weekend schedules, sending out the confirmation emails and texts, managing the PlushPlay socials, and buying new equipment 😀
You may have seen Olivia setting up/packing PlushPlay play spaces or supervising events in the past. After the birth of her second child, she has taken a step back from the field work and now manages the organisation behind the scenes while taking care of two kids under 4 years.
Olivia's favourite part(s) of managing PlushPlay is having to engage with clients, networking with other business owners in the party industry and keeping up to date with all the new soft play trends and bringing them to Canberra.

Over the course of the week, we will be shedding the spotlight on our amazing PlushPlay team.
2022 has been a year of growth, we have added new packages, invested in an additional delivery van, upgraded our website and online booking system, purchased warehouse space, and new jumping castles and soft play! We have also grown our family with the addition of our baby girl 👶 All of which was made possible by the amazing team and the Canberra community supporting us and making it all possible.
So, as we draw a close to 2022, let's take a minute to appreciate the team behind the business that is 'PlushPlay'.

Weather not behaving? Always have a plan B just in case!
This client had ordered a white jumping castle and some pink soft play for an outdoor set up but due to strong winds and rain we had to cancel the castle but offered the ball pit instead. We were able to set up in the client's double garage for a safe play under cover!
With the El Nìna expected to cause wetter than usual summer days, plan B's are essential!

Soft play provides a safe and fun environment for the kids to explore and hone their skills. It encourages motor development by allowing them to step, climb, crawl, jump and roll without fear of injury.
All soft playgrounds come to you, ready to entertain the little ones at your home or venue. Perfect for birthday parties, christenings, parent groups, fetes and community gatherings.
Playgrounds are cushioned with a Foam PVC Mat.
