I’ve been doing some mentoring with Karlee for a few weeks now and she came to help out with flowering up
She’s been an absolute joy to have around and I feel blessed to be able to have this opportunity.
Her confidence has grown so much during this time.

She kept asking me if I wanted more help or if she should stay longer. In preparation for the event she had been thinking about things she had at her house that could be utilised on the day to make things more efficient. Genius!

Showing up with flowers and a hug is what it’s all about when someone is grieving 🤍

Actually just showing up in some way is! I still remember all the people that showed up when my dad passed away. I remember the people that sent flowers and took the time to write on a card. I will always remember.

Since moving into the space in Willunga I’ve had the privilege to create for a lot of people grieving. I sometimes have a little cry after delivery but that’s okay. I guess I just really get it.

Initially, I didn’t want to create for sad occasions because I moved into horticulture and floristry to surround myself with flowers and plants and happiness but somehow I guess when you’re ready the time presents and you realise you’re more capable and willing.

Oversharing on a Friday! Anyway aren’t kings just gorgeous? Back to creating for me x

HOME SWEET HOME 🕊️

I must say holidaying is fun but coming home and being welcomed by Spring is just the best 🌼

Although I have a photo gallery of a crazy amount of flowers from Europe I thought I’d share a few from the garden.

The Sapphire blue anemones are beautiful, and my first attempt at bulb planting 🌱 I’m pretty stoked and I think there will be a lot more bulbs to come.

The website is now open and I am easing my way back into creating. So if you have anything you’re planning and wants some blooms to help create the vibe just ask!
