It's National Cake Decorating Day in the US today. Sure we're not in the US, but I'll take any opportunity to celebrate the work of the cake making magicians out there who create epic wedding cakes - like this one by

The gorgeous blue Portugese tile pattern on this divine 3 tier wedding cake paid tribute to the bride's heritage 💙

Today I recognise the hard working cake decorators out there who I know toil well into the night during wedding season to ensure each couple receives their dream cake.

I acknowledge the nervousness they feel as they transport their edible creations to reception venues and pray to the weather gods that the cake holds up in the Summer heat 🙏

And I tip my hat to the creative genius of cake makers and decorators who, with patience and talent, create visual masterpieces that also taste DELICIOUS!!!!
