I am so excited to share with you this year’s Lovecats Wedding Expo dates/venues and Expression of Interest Form. Hurray.
We will kick off the tour in glorious Sydney at the , Sunday the 22nd of September.
Next up we have Melbourne at the , Sunday 29th of September.
Last but in no means least we have Brisbane at the , Sunday the 13th of October.
I’ll be pooped by the end of it and will be calling for a few spicey margs for sure.

Hello there,
I'm Rachel, the new owner of Lovecats! It's truly an honour to take over the reins of such an excellent and inclusive wedding expo business. I've been following Em for a few years now, witnessing her business thrive. We actually met a couple of years ago at a charming elopement at the Alabama Hotel in Hobart. Ever since, we've stayed in touch. I even interviewed her for my website, which reflects how much I respect her.
Now, you might be thinking, "That's great, Rach, but tell us about you." Well, I reside at the end of the world, in the Huon Valley to be exact. My home is in the peaceful beach town of Verona Sands, where I live with my husband, two kids, and our chickens. I wear multiple hats—I'm a celebrant operating under the name of The Rebel Union, the artistic director of the Mid-Winter Festival, and the community engagement and event manager for the Multicultural Council of Tasmania. With years of event experience, including running a successful artist market in Victoria, I've been entrenched in the creative industry for about two decades. Fun fact: I used to be a dancer—specifically, a burlesque dancer. But fear not, I hold a degree in dance, so I'm fully qualified. In my downtime, I enjoy baking, gardening, and indulging in my favourite libations—Margaritas and Martinis. I also relish dining out and celebrating romance, witnessing people find their person and reveling in love. I DO!
I'm incredibly excited to dive in, meet new faces, and nurture Lovecats' growth. Later this year, I'll be bringing the expo to Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, with hopes to host smaller regional expos in New South Wales and Victoria.
