Meet Anna + AJ - they tied the knot at .revival in Paddington, in a legit elopement before heading off to a full reception with everyone they love.

This was the first wedding at the much loved vintage store and only came about because Anna was brave enough to ask.

This whole day was shot by our mate who was kind enough to let us share 🫶🏼

Hi, I’m Michelle ✌🏼
I’m joining you here as the new custodian of Lovecats.

First things first - I just wanted to thank Rachel, who nurtured and grew this space with so much creativity and heart. I’m grateful to be picking up where she’s left off.

A little about me: I’m a marriage celebrant based in Meanjin/Brisbane. I have also run a small alternative wedding expo on the Gold Coast for a few years now, and I’ve been in this industry long enough to know that authentic and safe wedding experiences still feel out of reach for too many people.

I personally value inclusivity, creativity, authenticity, and joy as an act of rebellion - and that’s what you can expect from Lovecats moving forward.

Whether you’re a vendor, or someone we hope to serve in the coming months, I hope you’ll feel at home here.

Well, that was quick!

I am excited to announce that Lovecats has been sold! I won’t give anything away as to whom the expo has been sold to, as they can come out with a bang themselves!
Thank you to the many interested parties who were keen to take flight with this kitty cat and make it their own. I have a very good feeling about the direction that this annual event is headed.
