Now we get to be our most fabulous selves and create community for others 🌈 and what a joy that is! Affirming someone with their correct pronouns and not making assumptions based on appearances, especially in front of their families, can be a real turning point in self love and acceptance ❤️.
So this IDAHOBIT (international day against all the q***rphobia’s) I’m speaking up for trans and gender diverse people.
Because I now feel seen and safe, I want the same for the rest of our community too 🏳️‍⚧️

Their first dance was Radiohead - Creep, where @emjensenweddings captured the cute and I watched on... like a creep! What an excellent, hilarious and special time we had. My name is Renee Thompson and I'm an Australian commonwealth registered marriage celebrant. I cater for all types of ceremonies and can work with you to make your wedding experience uniquely your own. I'm an experienced event manager and performer and have a large range of services and networks to suit all dreams and budgets. I also offer naming and end of life ceremonies.

​I am a very proud member of the LGBTIQ community. My personal involvement during the marriage equality campaign was pivotal in gaining the equal rights we have today to marry the people we love.

For the community, it was a highly emotional moment celebrating the YES vote. I vowed that day through my tears of joy that I would ‘become a marriage celebrant and marry all my gays’ because our love was finally recognised. So here we are, with equal rights, let's use them. Who wants to get married?

​I can assist in making your dream wedding as white, whacky, weird or wonderful as you like. In fact, if you engage me as your celebrant you can completely design the ceremony yourself, should you wish...I encourage you to get creative.
