Recently Royce and Cassie said "I do" at Burnham Grove estate!

A beautiful day filled with love, laughter and a heck of a lot of celebrating.

I was honoured to be the MC for the night and had a blast!!

Catch up number 3 continued!!

With just 3 days notice, after a desperate call for help, I had the most wonderful pleasure of performing the wedding for Tyrel and Isabelle in the stunning Rose garden of Wollongong Botanic Gardens.

An issue with previously booked celebrants meant a sudden change not only with the "officiant" but also the venue but it all fell into place perfectly.

I was so blessed to be able to be a part of this special moment and that everything was perfect!!

This job brings the utmost joy to my life and am truly blessed.

Catch up number 2 continued!

Nathan and Tammy said, "I do" at the iconic Panorama House.

As always the views were an amazing backdrop to a very very special ceremony.

Symbolic inclusions saw their mums presented with forever roses and dads with beautiful pocket watches. Acknowledging the love they have for their parents and the guidance they have given them.

My signature padlock ritual was expanded to include the kids in what was a beautiful blending of two families.

Wishing them both every happiness.

8 Months ago I had the honour of leading the farewell for an amazing Man.
Fred was a family man who devoted on his wonderful wife Freda. Married for 60 years.

On Wednesday I was once again given an incredible honour, and that was to lead the farewell for Freda.

Freda was lost without her beloved Fred and I imagined her arriving at the Pearly gates, pushing past the new arrivals and saying to St Peter, "Out of the way Pete! There's someone waiting for me" and rushing directly into Fred's arms.
Now knowing so much about them both, I have no doubt that already, in the few days since they have reunited, there have been numerous noise warnings asking them to tone it down!

This service meant a lot to me as I had not only shared time with Freda but her 3 sons Mick, Darrin and Rod, who have been work colleagues and good friends for well over 20 years.
A huge thank you to them for trusting me with this honour and Guardian funerals who supported me as this is something I don't normally do.

I surprised myself and went home feeling that maybe this is something I could do more of. Adding a touch of humour and love to what should truly be a celebration of life and not focus on the loss we may feel. My day job is targeted to end in May 2025 so something to think about.

Rest in Peace Fred and Freda.
Time will heal the pain of your passing but will NEVER dim the memories you left behind.

Catch up number 3!!

5hr drive to Dubbo to share in Brendan and Caitlin's big day in the grounds of Wester Plains Zoo.

Not every day your audience includes spider monkeys but it was amazing.

At the end of me telling the story of Brendan and Caitlin's journey together, a story always filled with love and humour, the spider monkeys burst into what sounded like loud laughter which cracked everyone up.

So glad I kept them entertained!

Catch up number 2!

Alex and Jess exchanged emotional vows at little Austimer Beach on the South Coast.

A beautiful ceremony that included the traditional Greek ritual the Stefana - 2 "crowns" joined together by a ribbon were placed on the couples heads, then symbolically swapped between each other.
This symbolised the glory and honour that is being bestowed to the couple by God.
They are crowned as King and Queen of their home, which they rule with wisdom, justice and integrity. The ribbon joining the Stefana symbolises unity.

Love such inclusions to represent heritage etc

Saturday was an amazing day at the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney.

The weather was beautiful and the backdrop simply amazing!
