When Vicki and Matt tied the knot at Grindelwald, it really was a dream come true.

As Vicki’s beautiful mum, Jane, walked her down the aisle, emotions ran high – especially as the three most important men in her life waited at the altar with hearts full of love. Sharing this special day with their boys, James and Ethan, made it all the more unforgettable.

And the surprise ring bearers, finding the hidden rings underneath their seats, delivered them like pros, sprinkling more magic on an already perfect day.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Cross, may your life together be filled with endless love, laughter and the kind of memories that last a lifetime. Thank you so much for the beautiful card and keyring – I’ll treasure them always.

Tonight the Wedding Industry Awards for 2025 were held and I was honoured to be awarded #2 Highly Commended Civil Marriage Celebrant in Tasmania.

This recognition means the world to me, but even more than that, it’s the love and support from my incredible couples that truly fills my heart. To each and every one of you who took the time to vote for me – THANK YOU!

When Thomas and Meg said “I do” at stunning Punchbowl Reserve, it was more than just a wedding - it was the coming together of two hearts, two histories and two vibrant cultures. Meg’s Chinese heritage and Thomas’s Indonesian background came together in a breathtaking journey of love and togetherness, creating a celebration as unique as their story.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, their vows were unique and beautiful, reminding us all of the power and possibilities of love. It was a day filled with happiness, deep connections and memories to last a lifetime.

Ellie and Kyle, two ocean lovers, had their hearts set on saying “I do” with the waves as their backdrop. Mother nature had other plans, but the amazing team at White Sands Beach Resort worked their magic to bring the ocean inside for their special day.

From their heartfelt tribute to their parents to the beautiful surprise of inviting their mums to sign the register, this day was filled with love, laugher and so many unforgettable moments. Theirs is a perfect love story and an inspiration to everyone – having conquered a long-distance romance which only deepened their bond, proving that love knows no bounds.

On the hottest summer day in picturesque Evandale, where their love story has a deep history, Susan and Stephen said “I do”!

The day was relaxed and casual – filled with laughter, love and a true sense of home. A special moment that melted hearts was Nathan proudly walking his beautiful mum down the aisle – a memory they will both treasure forever.

Emma and Ben declared their love and promises to one another at the stunning Sandridge Estate, Boat Harbour. Surrounded by so much love and support from family and friends, their special day was perfect.

The day began with little Baby Harry leading the way (with a bit of help from Ryan). Emma made a stunning entrance, accompanied by her lovely mum Carola.

With their fur babies, Kevin and Zoey, and 9-month-old Harry by their side, Emma and Ben were truly surrounded by all the love that fills their world.

What a magical celebration of family, love and togetherness. Congratulations, Emma and Ben, your day was absolutely amazing, just like you!

When Sophie married Dan on a wildly raining November day last year, the weather only added to the magic. Breathtaking Joseph Chromy provided shelter in the stunning gazebo as the heavens opened up above us.

During a brief pause in the rain, Sophie on the arm of her dad Chris, made her way to the ceremony. From that moment nothing could ruin the happiness of this amazing day. Tears, laughter and an atmosphere buzzing with love – it was unforgettable.

With their three beautiful children – twins Josie and Claire and little Henry by their sides, life felt picture perfect. The stunning photos captured by Scott and Emily Adams tell the story better than words ever could.

Sophie and Dan’s motto, “gotta have a sense of humour” really carried the day and kept the smiles shining through.

Loving what I do is one thing, but being loved back for what I do? That’s the ultimate!

Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of marrying two of the most incredible humans – Maddie and Zak. Their day was filled with love, laughter and so many special moments, and I’m still buzzing from it all. I will share more details once their photos are in but I just had to share the amazing gift they gave me – a gorgeous “Celebrant – Carol” glass – a much needed bottle of bubbles and the sweetest card that warmed my heart. I can’t wait to sip some bubbles, flip through their beautiful photos, and reminisce about the day that was.

They exchanged vows under a gorgeous tree in their backyard at Flowerdale which sheltered everyone from the rain on a brisk autumn day. Jayde and Bourbon’s Bellingham wedding was pure magic! From the moment Bourbon and the boys rocked up in shorts, character socks, and their trusty flannies, you knew it was going to be a day filled with personality. And it was! Watching Zarmaliya and Zeddy make their grand entrance in their jeep to the Mullet Shake was iconic! It was a perfect reminder to always stay true to yourselves when celebrating love. Life has a funny way of bringing us to the right place at the right time.
Just a day before their wedding, I had the honour of meeting Lee and Clare when their celebrant was unable to marry them. They took a leap of faith, trusted me, and I’m so grateful they did! Thanks to the incredible Kayla at Glendale Estate, every detail was flawless, and the day was nothing short of magical.

After 9 wonderful years, Tyarne and Sam finally said “I do” in front of their loved ones at stunning Apricus! With their two beautiful daughters, Aubree and Hope, by their sides, it was a day full of love, laughter and unforgettable moments. Especially when one of their little ones really made it unforgettable by giving the guests a cheeky surprise right in the middle of the ceremony!

Wow, what a day at breathtaking Tranquility Estate!

Kristen and Conan’s love story unfolded in the most incredible way, surrounded by so much love, laughter and so many happy tears! The energy was unreal, with their family and friends cheering louder and harder than ever. Truly a day to remember!

From beautiful “I do’s” to the endless smiles and so many good vibes, every moment was pure magic. Oh, and let’s not forget the real star – the stunning Delilah, who stole the show in her own special way. A huge congratulations to the brand-new Mr and Mrs Duhig! Will I ever forget this day? Probably not – my first kilted groom!
Elise and Mark travelled all the way from Scotland to say "I do" in the place where their love story began. Surrounded by the warmth of their family and Aussie friends, with loved ones in Scotland watching on from afar, they exchanged their vows at the beautiful Derwent Sailing Squadron in Sandy Bay on a stunning winter’s day.
Though they’ve built their life in Scotland, Tasmania will always hold their roots and the beginning of their forever.
One of the most emotional moments was seeing Elise’s proud parents, David and Louisa, walk her down the aisle, beaming with love and pride. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas – it was an honour to be part of your unforgettable day!

Two years ago, I began my journey as a marriage celebrant by officiating my daughter Maddi’s wedding to the love of her life, Josh. Since then, I have had the privilege of making the dreams of so many couples come true. It’s been a magical! Meeting incredible couples and their families, each with their own unique love story filling my heart with warmth and gratitude. Last Tuesday, I was honoured to be chosen among Tasmania’s top 10 celebrants! I’m humbled, excited and truly grateful to the couples who trusted me with the most special day of their lives and nominated and voted for me. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey with me and here’s to more love, laughter and beautiful marriages in the years ahead.
