As some of you may be aware, I’ve been investing my spare time as a volunteer at 3rd Space.

A drop-in centre for the homeless.

And I love my work there.

You may not be aware that homelessness has risen exponentially due to recent events, and often beyond the control of many individuals affected.

We rely on donations from those who can help.

And we’re in dire need of…
* Men’s and (mostly ladies) underwear, S/M/L/XL
* Socks
* Tinned food
* 3 minute noodles

12th December 2020, 1:00pm...

I arrived in Montville to a grey faced Motta, "You told me rain would bring us good luck today. But early this morning, I swerved to miss a possum on the motorway at 100km an hour in pitch black pouring rain... slammed my car into the side wall.”

I didn't know what to say.

Motta’s eyes fixed on mine, “The thing is, at that moment, I thought I was going to die... On my wedding day, of all days! But I didn't, not even a scratch".

I still didn't know what to say.

Motta stared up at the clearing clouds, "You told me you had a good feeling we would have a blue sky wedding". His eyes returned to mine, "I told myself if we did, you brought that luck, and you're the reason I'm still alive".

Um, maybe I'm a bit weird like that...

I'll never really know what forces were at play on Motta and Helen's wedding day... surreal and powerful and wonderful...

And absolutely unforgettable.

Oh, and if you're wondering, yes, blue skies.

Ted made our special day even more special, the work he put in even before our big day was astonishing!

Ted helped ease any tension my partner and I had with his charm and humor.

I hope I don't but if I had to get married again I will have Ted as our celebrant again! (I love my clients, especially when I get reviews like this) ☺🥰👰💝🤵
