Your all-in-one wedding expert in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. It’s me, hi. I’m the one, it’s me! I’m Jade. I’m not only a registered marriage celebrant, I’m also a professional singer and skilled MC and I’d LOVE to be a part of your day. I’m all about creating light-hearted ceremonies that bring smiles, giggles and happy tears all under 30 minutes.

Let’s talk music. When I’m done with the official bits I’m often found with a guitarist in tow, but on this occasion I got to bring along my pal Jesse to play keys during Nicole & Matt’s after ceremony celebrations down by the waterfront at Shoal Bay. It was so much fun!

Keys or Guitar, live tunes are still a vibe during the first half of your cocktail hour or even dinner, and I particularly LOVE having the chance to provide that for you. Hit me up if you’re curious about what’s on offer for the rest of 2024 and in 2025.

Shoe Game = 🤢 Face Game = ✅

I do love this reception party game, but holding up a dirty (possibly wet and muddy) shoe hasn’t always sat right with me, so I created the Face Game. It’s the same game but with less hassle!

By using profile pics, you don’t have to struggle to pop your shoes back on quickly before your first dance, or rush to wash your dirty hands. Ummmm, YES!

“Some time went by and one day, Lill discovered Liam WAS single (YAY!), so after a few drinks during a drunken uni Autonomy Day, she decided to slide into Liam's DMs, but still, nothing happened… Then came Brooke's birthday. Lill was out with the girls and Liam out with his mates… As the night moved on, the pair found themselves together at the bar at the Greenroof Hotel. With drinks in hand and barely a step away from the bar, the walls came down and Lill and Liam shared their first kiss.”

It’s been a GREAT break this winter, lemme tell you! I’ve had Saturdays to myself, I got my first and probably only tattoo (🫣) and got to spend time with some great friends and wedding pals just like Julie Muir - Celebrant here. But, Spring is close by and that means wedding season is BACK, BABY!

I’ll be hanging with 22 couples before the end of December, seeing them all hitched, singing some songs and hosting their parties. I can’t wait!

It’s all starting with Jasper and Lochie this weekend and I’m pretty dang excited.

Let me tell you, when you choose to get married in the Hunter it’s likely that you are going to be getting together a group of vendors who are actually mates that genuinely love to hang out with each other. This means you get all of those good friendship vibes at your wedding day, HOW GOOD IS THAT!?!

It's time for the annual Wedding Gala! Tonight us wedding vendor pals are getting black-tie ready to let our hair down, network and celebrate US! Big thanks to The Wedding Social Co. for organising a great reason for us all to mingle away from work.

A note to everyone, email replies are gonna be a bit slow this week. 1) Hangovers take WAYYY too long for me to get over these days, and 2) I'm gearing up for a beautiful Friday wedding which will be taking 100% of my focus. Making a champagne tower FUN.

I do love these towers, they look great! But for everyone watching you, you're just pouring drinks... and it's slowwwww. There aren't any fireworks that go off, or big dramatic moments as the lower cups fill so, bring the drama yourself!

Do the sophisticated pour and get those stunning editorial pics (cause they are truly AMAZING), but then shake the bottle baby! Have some fun like Chels and Jay.

Yes... yes I am.

In this case, we were debriefing about the fact that a moth decided to land right onto Bowen's face during his ring exchange moment with Fiona... at least it's something we'll never forget! 😅
(spoiler alert though: everyone giggled, we moved on and the rest of the day was perfect).

ONE HUNDRED 🥰🥳

On Saturday Mr & Mrs Griggs became the 100th couple Wed by Jade, and oh BOY did I celebrate. I was wearing all my hats: I was their celebrant, their MC and their wedding singer. If that’s not bringing it to 100 I don’t know what is!
