A moment for this beautiful bride .john, and all the gals! Generally, we begin getting ready for our wedding 12 months ahead - with ongoing appointments for skin care, hair, brows, dress/outfit fittings, nails, tans, make up, all the things!

No matter how many weddings I attend, I am always blown away by the love and beauty as the bride walks down the aisle. ❤️

Where will you find me on your big day? ⬇️

On arrival, I always check in on the Bridal parties & deliver breakfast/lunch (it is so easy to forget to eat on your Wedding day).

Next up, I check in with the venue staff, cross-check our information, and alter any last-minute changes that may have arisen.

Once everything is inline, for the next few hours you'll find me setting your tables, stationery, and assisting your florist with all the pretty things. Ensuring everything and everyone that is required has arrived on site and coordinate the setup and ex*****on of the day.

I will then coordinate the Ceremony, I am there for you, assisting with music, making sure everyone makes it down the aisle at the right time and we get you MARRIED.

After that, its final touches for the Reception, light candles, last minute placements of signage, re-location of flowers etc. Ready for that Grand Entrance!

How to pick your perfect wedding venue. ⬇️

① Talk to a planner
Get the ins & outs of different venues in your area from a Pro. Planners also have lots of knowledge on how to transform a space, what budget is required, how much time you'll need etc.

② Know your budget
Breaking down your budget into categories can help to determine how much you'll need for the venue. In my experience, couples spend approximately 40% of their entire budget on the Reception Venue.

③ Remember your guest list
I highly suggest getting your guest list sorted prior to Venue shopping. It will save you potential heartache down the track. It's no fun cutting your guest list as a result of the venue being too small and doesn't fit everyone you want at the Wedding!

④ Look at the inclusions
It's so important to check what the venues include within their pricing, i.e. is all catering done in-house or do you bring in your own? What furniture is included? What time is last drinks? When do you get access to the space? etc.

⑤ Be authentically you
Don't choose a space just because it's the latest trending 'look' on the feed. Connect with your partner and chat about what's important to you. Things that may be important; food, wine, vibe, aesthetics! I love what Margot & Nick (pictured) did, they picked a venue close to their heart, it was all about the overall feeling it gave them... plus look at that view 😍

What got me into working in the crazy and beautiful industry?

Who else watched JLO's The Wedding Planner as a kid and thought, yep I'm going to do that when I grow up? That was me! I watched that movie on repeat and so many other Wedding movies 🙈

With a big Italian family, attending weddings was a pretty common thing to do on the weekends and I loved it (still do... clearly)!

I've been professionally planning & managing all kinds of events for over a decade now, and from the very beginning Weddings were always my favourite! It's no surprise that I'm a complete perfectionist and a little OCD, so when I had the opportunity to go out on my own and start an Event Management business, I knew my niche would be Weddings, it's my happy place! 🤍

I love getting to know my clients as a couple, how they met, when they got engaged, all the things! And then helping them plan, create & execute their perfectly unique day!

I honestly feel very grateful to do what I do and the inner child in me is jumping for joy as my dream of becoming a wedding planner came true! ☁️

Oh my... honestly! This shot from what was the most BEAUTIFUL celebration.

These two gorgeous souls, decided to make it all about the love - they eloped, enjoyed a honeymoon in Santorini (a well deserved break after Alanna completed her phD), then returned home to throw their Happily Ever After Party!

I met with Alanna 4 months prior, and we planned an epic backyard party in their new home for a celebration of love held 29 Oct 2022 🖤

Put a ring on it 💍 Now what...
My top tips:
▪️ Enjoy the moment. As tempting as it is to bang it up on the socials, my tip would be to hold off a little. Take a moment where you can celebrate just you two, pop the champagne, go out for a nice meal, get between the sheets 😉 or just do whatever it is you love to celebrate this exciting time.
▪️ Make it official. First things first, call/message your nearest & dearests to let them know (you don't want mum to find out on the Gram)! Once you've done that, you can go Instacrazy.
▪️ Plan an Engagement. Start writing out a guest list for an engagement party. Or if that's not on the cards, treat yourselves and contact some photographers to get an engagement shoot done together.
▪️ Set a Date + Start Venue Shopping. If you want a specific date, and its in peak season (September to April) you'll want to start contacting venues ASAP. Boutique venues in ADL are booking up a good 18 months in advanced these days.

Classic tones throughout with their own personal touches like mini makineta coffee brewers as their bonbonnieres! With two big Italian families we had to plan this one out to perfection to make sure there was plenty of time for partying after formalities. The dance floor was full the entire evening with the Groom and his Groomsmen absolutely nailing the tarantella 🕺
